Westmoreland Park is within easy walking distance, as well as the Springwater Cooridor, Sellwood Park, Oaks Park, and Oaks Bottom wildlife refuge. I'll gladly point you in the direction of all the wonderful activities this neighborhood has to offer. But if you'd rather discover the neighborhood on your own, that's fine too.
There is a lockbox with key to get into the unit, and once you're settled in, if you have questions about what is around the neighborhood to do or see, just let me know.
Portland is known for its public transportation. It has some of the best in the country. Two bus lines are within one block away. The 19 will take you directly downtown, and it only takes about 10 minutes. Cost is about $2.40. It's a great deal!
Hello! This is a totally separate apartment with separate entrance in the back of the house. When you arrive you can access the keys to the apartment with the lockbox installed near the door to the unit. Just walk around the back, down the few steps and you'll see the entrance into the basement studio apartment. The combination will be provided after booking.
Pets are allowed. The pet fee is $10/day. I'd ask you help keep the home as clean as possible by drying off paws after being outside and keeping pets off furniture as much as possible. Thanks so much for your consideration!
Please remove shoes inside the apartment.
Enjoy your stay and the neighborhood! Go out for a drink or ice cream, watch a movie in or down the street at the Moreland Theater, and have fun.
Just let me know if you need anything or have any questions.
Peeking around the corner on the right is the entrance into the apartment. The entrance is located in the back of the house.
John's instructions were very clear and the place was immaculate. Everything was new or in good repair. There is a (firm) futon that unfolds with a deliberate bear hug. Cable TV and internet appear to work just fine. The neighborhood is great, with plenty of nice restaurants within walking distance. About 15 minutes to downtown by car, 20–30 minutes by bus (which stops nearby).
John's place was spectacular. It was clean, modern, and very cozy. The towel warmer was my favorite addition! The location was perfect to getting around the city. Checking in and out was easy and I enjoyed the privacy. Because this place was "downstairs," I heard way too much from the people staying above. They were very rude and were running and stomping after 11pm. Nothing to complain about John, as that is out of his control. Just keep in mind the noise level from above.
Cozy Yukon apt. Was very nicely decorated & very neat & clean. The pictures represent what you are getting very well. It is within walking distance to anything you may need. The only thing that we noticed were the squeaky floors from the residence above. Nothing to keep you awake at night. Everything is there for you with the exception of bar soap. A good pick.
This is a nicely-furnished, well-finished apartment that does not feel like a basement. Everything was as advertised and John was quickly responsive to a problem with the shower--had it fixed before we needed it again. The bathroom is especially well-decorated and more than surpassed those in many hotels we have stayed in.
Love John's place. His place was super clean and he was very professional and helpful at every point.
I only wish we could have stayed longer.
The area where John's place is located is perfect for getting around all areas of Portland and lots of neighborhood spots to walk to.
The space itself is beautiful and comfortable, and John's communication was great. There was a group of people in the unit above us, and although their noise level was in normal range, we could hear all their conversations, laughter, clinking forks on plates, and the floor creaked loudly right over our heads beginning at 6am from their footsteps.
