Westmoreland Park is within easy walking distance, as well as the Springwater Cooridor, Sellwood Park, Oaks Park, and Oaks Bottom wildlife refuge. Portland is known for its public transportation. It has some of the best in the country. Two bus lines are within one block away. The 19 will take you directly downtown, and it only takes about 10 minutes. Cost is about $2.40. It's a great deal!
Hello! This is a totally separate apartment with separate entrance in the back of the house. When you arrive you can access the keys to the apartment with the lockbox installed near the door to the unit. Just walk around the back, down the few steps and you'll see the entrance into the basement studio apartment. The combination will be provided after booking.
Pets are allowed. The pet fee is $10/day. I'd ask you help keep the home as clean as possible by drying off paws after being outside and keeping pets off furniture as much as possible. Thanks so much for your consideration!
Please remove shoes inside the apartment.
Enjoy your stay and the neighborhood! Go out for a drink or ice cream, watch a movie in or down the street at the Moreland Theater, and have fun.
Just let me know if you need anything or have any questions.
Peeking around the corner on the right is the entrance into the apartment. The entrance is located in the back of the house.
The basement studio apartment was just as described, plenty of room for the two of us. I'm sure it would fit 5 if the other 3 were little ones. Even though it was a basement, the daylight windows provided plenty of light during the day. Clean and spacious for a studio. Great to have a wonderful working washer & dryer so I could go home with clean clothes after a busy visit away from home.
Love it. It was exactly what we were looking for. Great neighborhood to explore on two feet.
Comfy basement studio space all amenities anyone could ask for! Beautifully designed, clean and exactly what I needed!
The apartment was very clean and cozy. It was nice to have a place to stay in a basement with all the heat. I would stay here again.
This was an ideal listing for our short stay in Portland--a great value and the exact neighborhood where I'd hoped to stay. I would want a full kitchen for anything longer than our 3 nights there, but I knew we would be eating out mostly for such a brief trip. The only thing that really detracted from the stay was the noise above us from people walking around and arriving and leaving--maybe checking in and out. There were a few times when it sounded like a herd of elephants above us. Luckily, it was never late at night or early in the morning! Laundry facilities were an unusual and welcome addition for a listing of this size and price. Thank you!
Our host accommodated us with an extra air mattress to comfortably sleep 5 guests. The description of the unit was accurate. The neighborhood was great. A short cab ride from the center of town and lots of bars and restaurants in the immediate area.
Overall it was a good experience, had no problems getting into the apartment. Pretty basic but was very functional and had a good location. Only real issue I have is that it says there are two beds, but one is a pretty small futon. Smaller than a twin bed for two people? Not super ideal unless your with bae.
