Interaction with guests

I enjoy conversations with people about their lives and I also like my privacy. I've found most people who stay here feel that same way.

Beautiful location and cozy home. Minutes away from everything (food, downtown, OHSU, Zoo, gardens etc) by driving, especially the Council Crest Park- a must see for all visitors. Annie is a hospitable host and I wish we could’ve talked with her more. I would highly recommend staying here.

Anne's cottage is a treasure. Tucked into the hills on the outskirts of the city it's not really far from anything at the same time that it feels like a retreat. Anne was kind and generous (she provided a lovely spread of coffee, fruit, etc. for breakfast), the room was comfortable and looked out on forest, and everything I needed was at hand. I can't recommend this spot too highly for anyone who wants a respite.

Anne was a great host and her home was such a delight with a zen-like feel. We arrived late due to our flight schedule but Anne was there to greet us! Her home is lovely and very clean. Loved the private bathroom and their private deck! We stayed for three nights and I would absolutely recommend this place to anyone! Very peaceful with a great Portland vibe.

The place was very clean and designed to the dot with feng shui in mind. Lots of decorations and ornaments from her travels that I'd be a bit scared to let my dog loose here, haha. It's 15-20 minutes from downtown, while still feeling a bit removed the city, which was nice. Anne was very welcoming at the beginning but hands off for the rest of our stay. We had a great time, thanks Anne!

I love the natural world, birds, gardens, camping at music festivals, dancing, playing my D'agle autoharp and singing with my bluegrass buddies. I cook, go on walks, and create beautiful indoor and outdoor spaces with Feng Shui. Design is in my gene pool. I speak some Spanish, understand more.
I have painted quite a few intricate mandalas with gouache tempura paint and enjoy drawing. I have a simple eclectic spiritual practice and view of the world. I've traveled to 26 countries, recently Cuba. I've lived in Mexico, England and Wales. I love having travelers come to my Airbnb guest room. It's almost as good as traveling myself!
