Andrea is the loveliest person, he collected my husband late at night from the train station and brought him to the apartment. He had brought basic supplies foodwise for the first night. The apartment was spotlessly clean and was fully equipped with everything you could need. And more..... The apartment itself is in a great area, in the historical centre, but in a quiet street and about a 3 minute walk to the escalator up into the main thoroughfare. It is right beside the main bus station. The apartment itself has a small terrace and it was lovely to sit out during the day or evening looking out at the views of Perugia. Andrea made himself available throughout the month for any queries we had and was so kind and helpful at all times. I would not hesitate to recommend this apartment to anyone wishing to stay in Perugia.
The apartment is lovely and cosy, had a nice view over the city. It's quite convenient to walk to the centre where everything happens. Andrea is a wonderful host, he picked us up from the train station, and prepared many things in the apartment for us to use. He even allowed us to use his private car park near the train station.
I rented this apartment for a month. It is ideally located because it was very close to the central area but just far enough away to be peaceful. The neighborhood is so nice, with local bars and restaurants. There is a great view of the city from the living room. The apartment has everything one could need. Everything worked perfectly including the air conditioning. I hate to say it was clean because isn't that what one expects at a minimum, but it was very clean and homey. I really liked this place.
The owner, Andrea, helped in every way possible. When I arrived, he picked me up from the bus station and took me back when I left. He provided me with some groceries on my arrival. I needed a few extra towels, and he delivered them the next day. I hate to admit it, but he also came over to help me figure out the remote so I could watch the world cup. Bottom line, he did everything he could to make me comfortable. Everything was positive about the apartment and the owner.
We rented Andrea's apartment for one month and had a fantastic experience. If you want to live with the locals, this is the place! It's in an excellent area - located in the City Center...and we felt very safe. Andrea was very nice, professional, accommodating, and responsive. If we had a question, he emailed us back immediately. We could not have asked for a better landlord. This apartment was clean and inviting. The balcony was our favorite part, offering amazing views of the city and nearby mountains/countryside. We highly recommend this apartment and would stay here again in an instant.
