The studio apartment was true to the pictures and the space was perfect for two people. Maria was readily available When we needed a few items that were missing from the apartment; she responded immediately and brought over the items within minutes. We really enjoyed our stay, thank you Maria!
The apartment is right in the city centre it is very convenient for us to walk to restaurants and shops. I really like the interior design of the apartment as well.
Maria's apartment was as fantastic as it looked on the photos and a great location to match. Maria was responsive, provided loads of useful information and getting access to the apartment when we arrived was easy and hassle free. Would stay again in a flash.
Apartment is right in the thick of Reykjavik. Easy to walk pretty much anywhere in town.
The apartment itself is beautiful. Well decorated, it feels like home when you first step in to it. Bathroom is huge, shower is great, and bed is comfy. The couch in the living room was also comfy to sleep on. No problems with check in either.
Maria's apartment was perfect in every way for our week long stay in Reykjavik. The location could not have been better. It was centrally located next to the main shopping street, within walking distance to fabulous shops, boutiques, restaurants, the harbor, the tourist information center and the bus stations. We also discovered that it was within a short walk to an indoor pool and outdoor hotpots that the locals use. The apartment itself was quite lovely. The instructions for entry we found to be easy and once inside, it did not disappoint. The rooms and furnishings are exactly as the photos depict, even nicer! There were only two of us and we found the amount of space to be more than adequate, yet had a cozy feel. You could easily sleep two more in the living room. We enjoyed being able to look out onto the street and see the action, and found the apartment to be quiet even though we were located in the middle of everything. Do not hesitate to book Maria's apartment for your stay in downtown Reykjavik.
We had a great two night stay in downtown Reykjavik
The apartment was perfectly located for walking access to all of the city experiences.
The apartment was cool - modern and simple. It was well appointed and clean. We would recommend this location to our friends and family without hesitation.

Hey there! I am a native of Icelandic and have been living in Reykjavik all my life. I travel quite a bit for work and for pleasure and whether I'm in town or not, I love hosting people from all over the world. My interests include working (a lot) connecting with all kinds of different people, music, food (I eat a lot), interior decorating, and expanding my world view either by visiting new cities or having great conversations with interesting and inspiring people. I like things clean and organized and I live to have good time with friends. Fun is the spice of life!
I am in the music business. I run my own music school with 250 students all age from children to adult and they learn how to be a pop singer.:-)
I am also song writer and producer. I produce show for children on TV.
I travel in Iceland in summer time with my motorhome and go to the warm places in winter time.
I love scuba diving, water skiing listen to good music and eat good food.
