  • This is a great, convenient east side location, all rooms were kept very clean and tidy, and Evan was very helpful and answered any and all questions we came up with.

  • My girlfriend and I stayed two nights with Evan. He was a great host and made out stay very enjoyable. He was nice enough to let us use his grill and washer/dryer too. Evan and his friends are fun and very chill to hangout with.

The house is kept clean and the location is great, just minutes from Kapaa town which is very centrally located on the island.

  • Staying at Evan's in Kapa'a was the right choice for my boyfriend and I. The location on the east was easily accessible to many sought after adventure spots on the island. Getting around was made easy by the aid of Evan and Jeff, among other guests. The recommendations that were provided to us through these two made our short trip as seamless and enjoyable as possible. Evan is an extremely generous host and offered almost anything we could wish for of his to us to borrow. We would definitely go back to Kauai and stay at this friendly and hospitable location again. Thanks so much!

  • Evan is a friendly host with a nice place. He invited me to hang out with his friends, eat dinner, etc, which was awesome. He's more than willing to help out with suggestions about what to do in Kauai. Would recommend.

  • Evan was a wonderful host. Very helpful and the fact that he rents out cars for so cheap is awesome! Great place to stay.

  • Living at Evan's is like moving to town and instantly having a bunch of cool friends. Every day we stayed with him a few of his friends would pop by and say hello, stay for a beer and give us great tips for exploring the island. Evan is also very helpful, being very adventurous himself. He also rents cars, lends out snorkel great, ice chests, etc.

  • I had a great time at Evan’s. He is a great host and takes care of his guests, very down to Earth and responsible. He may show you some secret places of the island and introduce you to great people. The place is clean and there is plenty of room to cook. Great shower! Very good situated just a few minutes from the beach and Kappaa downtown. So looking forward to go back. Mahalo.

  • Evan seems like a really nice and mellow person. The house is nice, clean, and conveniently located. I would recommend this place for someone looking to meet new people and stay in a clean place on a budget. Also a plus that you can do laundry! Unfortunately, when I stayed with Evan my boyfriend and I had already had a lot of adventures and were pretty tired and the house was a little too noisy for us to relax. This is definitely a good choice for people looking for an adventure rather than relaxation.

  • Evan is a responsible and friendly host. He goes the extra mile, in that he will drive guests to/from the airport if they need it. The room is in a house with a stocked kitchen, with simple food stuffs available. I stayed for a week, so I made use of the washer/dryer for laundry. I was there when two other rooms in the house were occupied, and it was a pleasant, hostel-like atmosphere. You'd be hard-pressed to find a more reasonably priced room, not far from the beach and old Kapa'a town. I'd stay there again, no problem.
