'Helena's Boathouse' is the bigger sister of 'Helena's Cabin' on a former cargo ship.
Besides visiting Ghent, in our B&B you can cosily browse through the many art books or relax with a good read.
You can also enjoy a range of fine wines.

The space
* In the entrance you also have a historical corner with lavabo
* Then you enter the open kitchen with bar table that is equipped for cooking (gas stove) and a cozy sitting area overlooking the terrace.
* To the right you have a separate wet room with shower and toilet.
* Downstairs there is a cozy bedroom with a comfortable king size bed.
* Terrace: In fine weather you can also enjoy the beautiful view of the water outside on the deck.

'HELENA's Boathouse' is located in the new neighbourhood 'De Nieuwe Dokken' (The New Docks) in the city’s harbour with the cranes as historical beacons, nearby Dampoort station and close to the beauty of the Centre of Ghent.
You have an ideal base if you want to make day trips to other cities in Belgium. Antwerp, Brussels, Bruges or Ostend are only 30/40 minutes away by train.
