About this listing
Rarely can you find something in this area that is so spacious, clean and centrally located. I have everything you need to make my home feel like yours.
Friends or family visiting? Have them stay in the neighborhood without having to battle the crowds of downtown and super high priced hotels. My studio is centrally located to Fillmore Street (high end retailers like Marc Jacobs, Jonathan Adler, Peet's Coffee, Starbucks, and much more), restaurants and cafes), Polk Street and blocks from the Franklin Street Whole Foods. Neighborhood is quiet, safe and accessible to public transportation. Street parking is easy should you have your own car as I am near a school, so weekends are typically easier than during the week.
Fully equipped with all the necessary amenities you'd expect to find when away:
-Queen sized bed (bedding, down comforter, pillows, etc)
-Cooking utensils, pots, pans, etc. as well as a pretty well stocked refrigerator
-All dish ware, cook ware, glasses and more are included
-Coffee maker with coffee, tea
-Breakfast nook with 4 chairs and glass top table
-42" flat screen television with cable channels
-Coin operated laundry in building is also available
-Building is safe and secure, double pane windows
-In wall heating unit, if needed
-Sectional sofa - perfect for propping up your feet after a long day
-Baker & Banker restaurant one block away is a great way to spend an evening if you don't fee like cooking
[sorry, no pets or smoking permitted]
Interaction with Guests
In most situations, I will not meet you when getting you the key to the building. I will however, provide you with all the necessary information needed when you make the reservation.
I am in the Lower Pacific Heights area of the city.
Fillmore Street is one of the nicest streets in the city. You can easily walk form the apartment heading down Pine or California Street. You will find everything from coffee shops (Starbucks, Peet’s, The Grove, etc), restaurants, shopping and more.
Lafayette Park is up the hill on Octavia and Sacramento Streets. It went through a multi-million dollar renovation so it’s nice to wander through there or sit on the grass on warm days.
Taking buses in and around the city are safe and commonly used. The closest bus to the apartment is the 1-California, and the 2 or the 3. These all travel in the east/west direction, which would take you downtown or towards the Embarcadero. Tickets cost $2 per person (dollars or coins only) and when the driver offers you the paper transfer ticket, take it. It’s not only proof of payment but it allows you to travel on other bus lines within a few hour window without having to pay again. Also, visit (website hidden) for more detailed info.
Lyft and Uber are also commonly used around the city. All you need to do is download one of those apps on your smart phone.
Building is on the quiet side.
Please be respectful of neighbors and my private things I'm leaving in the apartment. No parking, smoking or pets.
Jen was an amazing host and she made the whole experience simple and pleasurable. Apartment was clean and comfortable and in a very convenient location. Next time I'm back in San Francisco I will definitely stay at jen's place again.
We had a fantastic few days in Jen's place. It is such a comfortable and beautifully decorated apartment. And it is the best location to see the city from - it is central to the city, the bridge, GG park, Coit Tower, Haight Ashbury, and the Mission, making everything easy to get to. The bed is also super-comfy, you will sleep well!
Jen was so lovely and helpful. We especially appreciated how she was able to take our last minute booking. We had organized another Airbnb place that fell through at the last minute, and we were worried we wouldn't be able to sort something out at such short notice. So thank you Jen you saved our holiday :)
Jen's place was clean, comfortable and just like the photos. She offered us a list of recommendations and then even more once I had a few questions. It truly felt like we were staying with a friend. The location was perfect for our daily trips out to explore all the city has to offer. And once the day of exploring had ended, it felt nice to have such a great place to come home to.
We loved Jen's place. It feels like our home during our short stay in San Francisco. The apartment is clean, spacious, quiet and convenient. Due to emergent situations we had to leave two days early than planed and Jen was very considerate and generously granted out request. I highly recommend her place.
Jen was a great host. She was quick to answer my questions prior my reservation and was very flexible with my check-in and check-out times. When she met me on a Sunday, she also went through details about the area, including supermarkets and even some running trails to check out - all of which was very helpful. The apartment is great for 1-2 ppl and is fully furnished with a good sized kitchen. The Pac Heights area is great and in walking distance to a number of tourist areas. If you don't to walk, the MUNI bus system is very close to the apartment. I'd definitely recommend Jen's apartment.
Jen is a great host and her apartment is just perfect, a beautiful spacious and modern studio located in one of the best areas of San Francisco. Highly recommended to everyone.
Jen was a wonderful hostess! Her place was immaculate and the neighborhood was safe and near lots of good restaurants and shopping. Jen went out of her way to make sure we had an enjoyable stay. She was very flexible and helpful prior to the trip. She answered all of our email questions promptly and even sent us a list of sights and restaurants she recommended we visit during our stay. I would definitely recommend staying in her place during your visit to San Francisco!
