My Apartment is in the best and the most beautiful location in Warsaw. It is located at Plac Zamkowy - Royal Castle Square with the Royal Castle vis a vis it and the Old Town around it. The Capital of Poland was brought to Warsaw in year 1596 (nearly 420 years ago), and the King who moved the Capital from Krakow to Warszawa stands on a tall Column in front of the Royal Castle. You will have one of the most beautiful views in the world :-)
It is located close to public transport - buses, trams - 2-3 mins away. Metro stations Nowy Świat and Ratusz Arsenal are located 10-12 minutes walk away. Central train station is located 15 mins by bus or taxi or 30 minutes walk away. Chopin Airport is located around 25-30 mins away by taxi, and up to 45 mins by bus No 175. It is beautiful and convenient here :-)

My partner and I visited Warsaw for the first time to attend my cousin's wedding, so didn't know the city at all. We got so lucky to stay in Anna's apartment. She sent us all the information we needed to get from the airport to the old town and was really helpful and friendly. The location of her apartment is beautiful, the view from the apartment is almost unreal and the apartment itself clean, very comfortable and homely. Anna met us to welcome us to the apartment and give us a short introduction to it and the area, which was great. The bed was large and really very comfortable, the shower had good water pressure and the fan was a life-saver in unusually hot conditions this summer. The area in which the apartment is in is fantastic, we arrived back in the early hours of the morning after my cousin's wedding and we felt perfectly safe. There are so many good bars and restaurants within a short walk. We were there over a public holiday, when the square outside was particularly noisy, so if you're a light sleeper, just bring some ear plugs. I think the view and location more than makes up for the noise from outside. I would definitely recommend Anna's apartment and would happily stay there again.
I díd not meet Anna, but following her instructions we checked in fine. The apartment is clean and cozy, perfect for two people but accommodated us four quite well. A spectacular location right in the middle of the old town, with a fantastic view of the Warsaw castle! We spent some days in August of 2015, the hottest in Poland since 1921, and missed some air-conditioning (the fan did its best, though). A single minus: no microwave oven (a nice coffe machine, with supplies for our stay, was a plus).
In all, probably the best choice to enjoy this part of Warsaw, I recommend it earnestly.
Carlos, thank you very much for your nice recommendation and your little comments. We are not used to such hot weather in Poland, so air-condition is very rare here, especially in old buildings, but I will inverst in it in a future, or at least I will provide more fans :-). As to microwave oven, we used to have it in the apartment, but no one seemed to use it. Something to consider again :-). I hope that coffee maker, a toster, and gas cook were OK. Best regards, Anna
Anna's apartment was so lovely - we will definitely be back. Despite being in the heart of the Old Town, it's very quiet. Anna was easy to communicate with and everything worked like clockwork. She set up our (very) early morning taxi to the airport and everything worked beautifully. The beds are very comfortable. We will definitely be back!
Anna's apartment is right on the square but very quiet. It was fun to watch parades and rallys and the daily trumpeter from my own window. It is clean and comfortable and very convenient to Old Town and other sites.
By far the most elegant night I have ever had. Anna's mother was there to greet us and so kind to show us around. It is a pent house level of the most beautiful square in Poland. The home is where I would want to stay long term to work on the book my husband is writing. Anna has put every attention to detain in this home: top shelf linens, kitchen amenities, mattress comfort... But what she couldn't do was make sure all the other items we loved would also be available. We opened the window to a cool breeze, no bugs, and for 2 hours listened until midnight to gifted violinists playing all our favorite classical music, and even a few popular movie tunes (each was a street musician). It's a wonderful, safe square, and all the cafe's and sites to see we're close by. The apartment is adorned in Italian marble, and perfect!
Hi Patricia, Thank you so much for your wonderful words:-). I couldn't expect a nicer opinion... there is a tear in my eye;-). You are always very welcome to stay in my apartment while you are in Warsaw. Please consider coming here for longer for the time your husband is writing his book...
All the best :-)
We had a wonderful stay at Anna's appartment.
Anna was very flexible and brought as the key the first day. Everything was as described and the appartment is indeed very central. IMO, a perfect place to start exploring Warschow.
We particularly appreciated that Anna allowed us to store our baggage for longer as no other guests were coming that day.
