I arrived after midnight and Susan was nice to welcome me that late. Good location. Clean room.
There was no hairdryer and I couldn't leave my luggage during the day after the check out, which is 12 pm...
Suzanne was a really great host, and very understanding even though I arrived slightly later than I planned. The room is exactly as advertised, and I found it very quiet considering the location. The single bed is extremely comfortable. The location is superb and feels very safe. It's in easy walking distance from Union Square, Washington Square Park, and Greenwich Village. In conclusion, I can thoroughly recommend this place, and would happily stay again.
Hostess: Nasty nitpicking neurotic narcissistic New Yorker. A headache from start to finish. I offered to let her cancel my reservation well in advance but she refused. She is in the inhospitality business... wanted me to wait until 9:30pm to check in when I had been up since 4am. It was all about her convenience. Not a good match since all my previous hosts on AirBnB have all been gracious!
Room: Very small with unfinished paint job. Photos are misleading as there were no decorations while I was there.
For the first time in my 2 years of hosting on Airbnb, with over 80 wonderful guests and outstanding reviews, I have never experienced anyone like you with a total disregard for the house rules and lack of communication skills. This review is sandwiched between what most all of my traveler's experience. I guess one bad apple in the bunch is to be expected.
Suzanne's space was great! Very clean, simple, and exactly what I was looking for. She was very accommodating and explained the use of the home clearly, right upfront, so it was easy to come and go once I'd arrived. Prior to arriving, she was proactive in reaching out and responsive to my questions. The neighborhood has a lot to offer. I easily found great food and coffee and would certainly stay here again.
A very nice neighborhood with lots of shops, restaurants and a subway station nearby. A friendly host and an adorable puppy. A cosy place and suitable for single travellers. It was price-worthy
Suzanne is a very nice host, she's very friendly.
The house in a great position and the room is very confortable.
I will come back soon.
Suzanne was very welcoming and friendly (even though I was delayed a bit in my arrrival!). She is very open and easy to talk to - I enjoyed our conversations a lot!
The room was really nice and cosy. Perfect to relax in after long days of sightseeing.
I would be very happy to go back to Suzanne's place on my next visit to NY!
