My 15 year-old son and I spent a couple of nights at 16, Queensborough Terrace. We found the apartment very clean and everything we needed during our stay was there to be found.
We liked the neighbourhood as well; it is calm and feels safe. Just around the corner you find Queensway, with pharmacie, pubs, restaurants, small grocery stores and even a mall (when you´re tired of the crowded Oxford street). If you need to do some more seriously grocery shopping I would recommend Waitrose at Porchester Road. Close to undergrounds and buses as well. I would definitely stay here again!
Esperienza con host positiva. la comunicazione è stata efficiente. Per gli standard di Londra lo consiglio vivamente. Molto pulito. Il quartiere è tranquillo, ottimo per servizi, vicinanza alla metropolitana (5 min) e ristoranti.
Positive experience with Carry. Comunication was great. Very clean flat. The neighborhood was very quiet. Underground 5 min walk and a lot of restaurants in Bayswater. I highly recommend it.
Great location! Not very big, but all essentials there, perfect base for sightseeing visit.
Everything was PERFECT !!!!!!!!
The location was excellent and close to the underground, there was 3 of us so the sofa bed was made up each night after the table was folded down. We had several small problems , none of which spoiled our holiday. We had to use the grill as the toaster blew the power out and we had to switch the safety switchback on. The pillows were very flat and there was no pillows for the sofa bed, we compromised using the cushions .Lastly we couldn't get the washing machine to work, Carrie was to. Send someone to fix it but we must have been out at the time . We had a lovely 6 nights in London...
My experience with the host was not the best. Either she was not a good communicator or she seemed uncaring. I was informed that in about one week before check-in, I would get additional details about the apt. About 3 days before check-in, I asked how I would get the keys. I was told that the info would be forthcoming over the weekend. Well, I didn't get her info until the night before we left for the trip. It was a little unnerving not to know if some had happened to the apartment or if I even had somewhere to stay in London.
The apartment itself was fine. It was clean and in a good quiet location with the amenities we were looking for. Unfortunately many the amenities were not working properly. When I left Carrie a message about getting the password for the wi-fi, I never got a reply. After the first shower, the cold valve would not shut off, running fast continuously. When I left a message about it, someone came the following day while we were out and tightened it so much we could no longer turn it on. We could only shower with scalding hot water. After another call, someone came the following day again while we were out, to turn the cold valve back on but still leaking as before. Then the heater stopped working for 2 days. This was finally fixed the night before check-out. And finally, the washer would not operate, and never did, even after we contacted Carrie. As travelers, one of the reasons we selected this apartment was for the washer. This property does not seem to be properly maintained. This was by far the worst apartment rental experience we have ever had.
The apartment is small and very clean!
We were 2 adult and one child and felt comfortable!
There supermarkets and restaurants just a few minutes to walk.
A bus station is 100 meters from the house.
I will recommend this place and hope come back again!
Except for a power outage that left us out of electricity one evening we are very content with our stay in this cute and clean apartment! We stayed 2 adults and 2 children which was ok, but for two couples it would be a bit tight :-), for one couple it would be perfect!
Very close and convenient to stay here and explore London!
Carrie was easy to get in contact with and replied quickly when we had questions.
Super appartement propre, proche des stations de bus. Appartement assez grand pour quatre.
This is a place what we recommend to stay in London, as we have been in several places than this was the best where we have been. I recommend this place: clean, quiet, good beds and easy to find, also very near to everything.
This place is maximum for 4 people, not more and this place is best for friends trip or 2 adult and 2 children, but not for 2 couples as apartment is very small and it is not nice to be in the same room :) Anyway this is a very nice and good place to stay when you are in London. We will be back !!
