The Space

This Lovely quaint studio in the heart of everything that matters is in a Victorian Heritage building with an opulent entrance with a real British presence, based in Queensway.
Its a great place for diverse activities

The handsome early 19th-century stuccoed buildings in the area give a glimpse of its fashionable past.
With leafy, elegant roads nearby it epitomises the diversity and charm of Bayswater. This isn’t a homogenised tourist trap it’s a living, breathing, multicultural community.
With a rich history and a multitude of restaurants and things to do, the area is an excellent choice for a visit to London.
The studio is located on the ground floor and sleeps four. One real bed and one sofa bed.
The studio has just been redecorated and is in stunning condition.

It comprises of a lounge with a fully equipped kitchen with all modern conveniences including cooker, fridge/freezer, microwave, washing machine, etc.
There is also a separate bathroom with a bath/shower.

We provide Linens and towels and a light breakfast of tea coffee and cereals.
There is also a TV with free view.

The transport is incredibly great with both Bayswater and Queensway Underground a short walk away and numerous bus routes going in all directions at your doorstep.

The culturally diverse Bayswater is one of London's most architecturally traditional areas.
With a great expanse of Hyde Park's landscaped English parkland almost on your doorstep.

Edgware Road is London's Arab high street, and in summer the air is rich with the scents of Okacbasi barbecues and full of the sounds of Middle Eastern and North African music.

Between Queensway and Bayswater Underground Stations is the Queens Ice Rink, careful it’s easy to miss with stairs going down into the main part of the building. The bunch of skittles at the top of the stairs is a clue. The main attraction here is the 10 pin bowling alley and the ice rink
Whiteley's, a century-old department store that was the closest thing London has to a US-style mall prior to the opening of Westfield

Every place is at your doorstep. Bayswater , Harrods, Knightsbridge, Hyde Park, Natural History, Science and V&A Museums, Royal Albert Hall. I could carry on and on and on.
Splendid Walks Through Kensington Gardens
The location could hardly be bettered, with wonderful walks, monuments and restaurants.
The city’s most popular attractions are within easy reach.
Hyde Park, The Serpentine boating lake and the Diana Princess of Wales’ Memorial Playground just beyond. The kids can run wild while you relax with a picnic or a good book.
Holland Park is considered by many to be the most romantic park in London.

Music and Museums

The celebrated Royal Albert Hall, with its fabulous schedule of concerts and shows, is only a short walk.
The Victoria & Albert Museum, the world’s greatest museum of art and design, is a further ten minutes easy stroll.
Next door to the V&A you’ll find two favourite family attractions –
The Science Museum and Natural History Museum.

Two Royal Palaces

Lovers of Royalty adore Kensington Palace, the former residence of Queen Victoria and more recently Diana, Princess of Wales.
Kensington Palace is a working Royal Residence and has a significant place in the history of London.
Buckingham Palace the Queens residence is just a short journey away.

At the heart of London’s best shopping districts

The area is paradise for shoppers, with Knightsbridge, Harrods Bayswater and Oxford Street only a short distance away.
Notting Hill is not too far away with a lovely gentle stroll through Kensington Park and into Portobello Road Market where you can search for bargains of all kinds especially antiques.
To the north-west lies the Westfield shopping centre with over 265 retailers from luxury designers to high street labels.

Eating out

Bayswater has always been one of the most ethnically diverse London neighborhoods. As a result it boosts a fusion of reasonably priced international cuisine. Restaurants, all perfectly placed for the travellers staying nearby.

No shortage of nightlife

London’s legendary West End is easy to reach by tube - you are only minutes from vibrant theatreland –
Piccadilly Circus, Shaftesbury Avenue, Leicester Square and the Royal Opera House in Covent Garden.
Dive into the warren of narrow streets that criss-cross Soho and you’ll find endless old pubs, lively bars and countless restaurants.
Close to the capital’s biggest attractions.

A few minutes in a cab or a short tube ride away and you’re in the heart of Whitehall, Big Ben,
The Houses of Parliament,
Westminster Abbey,
The Cabinet War Rooms museum
London Eye. From here you can board a boat and cruise down the river past the Tower of London,
Tower Bridge,
The financial centre of Canary Wharf
National Maritime Museum at Greenwich.
From Whitehall Trafalgar Square, with the National Gallery and the National Portrait Gallery, is an easy walk away. Head in the opposite direction and you are soon at Tate Britain.

We have Italian, Chinese speaking staff available. Please call us for any enquiries.

Check In
  • My 15 year-old son and I spent a couple of nights at 16, Queensborough Terrace. We found the apartment very clean and everything we needed during our stay was there to be found.
We liked the neighbourhood as well; it is calm and feels safe. Just around the corner you find Queensway, with pharmacie, pubs, restaurants, small grocery stores and even a mall (when you´re tired of the crowded Oxford street). If you need to do some more seriously grocery shopping I would recommend Waitrose at Porchester Road. Close to undergrounds and buses as well. I would definitely stay here again!

    Esperienza positiva.

Positive experience with Carry. Comunication was great. Very clean flat. The neighborhood was very quiet. Underground 5 min walk and a lot of restaurants in Bayswater. I highly recommend it.

  • Great location! Not very big, but all essentials there, perfect base for sightseeing visit.

  • Everything was PERFECT !!!!!!!!

  • The location was excellent and close to the underground, there was 3 of us so the sofa bed was made up each night after the table was folded down. We had several small problems , none of which spoiled our holiday. We had to use the grill as the toaster blew the power out and we had to switch the safety switchback on. The pillows were very flat and there was no pillows for the sofa bed, we compromised using the cushions .Lastly we couldn't get the washing machine to work, Carrie was to. Send someone to fix it but we must have been out at the time . We had a lovely 6 nights in London...

  • My experience with the host was not the best. Either she was not a good communicator or she seemed uncaring. I was informed that in about one week before check-in, I would get additional details about the apt. About 3 days before check-in, I asked how I would get the keys. I was told that the info would be forthcoming over the weekend. Well, I didn't get her info until the night before we left for the trip. It was a little unnerving not to know if some had happened to the apartment or if I even had somewhere to stay in London.
The apartment itself was fine. It was clean and in a good quiet location with the amenities we were looking for. Unfortunately many the amenities were not working properly. When I left Carrie a message about getting the password for the wi-fi, I never got a reply. After the first shower, the cold valve would not shut off, running fast continuously. When I left a message about it, someone came the following day while we were out and tightened it so much we could no longer turn it on. We could only shower with scalding hot water. After another call, someone came the following day again while we were out, to turn the cold valve back on but still leaking as before. Then the heater stopped working for 2 days. This was finally fixed the night before check-out. And finally, the washer would not operate, and never did, even after we contacted Carrie. As travelers, one of the reasons we selected this apartment was for the washer. This property does not seem to be properly maintained. This was by far the worst apartment rental experience we have ever had.

  • Excellent location!
The apartment is small and very clean!
We were 2 adult and one child and felt comfortable!
There supermarkets and restaurants just a few minutes to walk.
A bus station is 100 meters from the house.
I will recommend this place and hope come back again!

  • Except for a power outage that left us out of electricity one evening we are very content with our stay in this cute and clean apartment! We stayed 2 adults and 2 children which was ok, but for two couples it would be a bit tight :-), for one couple it would be perfect!
Very close and convenient to stay here and explore London!
Carrie was easy to get in contact with and replied quickly when we had questions.

  • This is a place what we recommend to stay in London, as we have been in several places than this was the best where we have been. I recommend this place: clean, quiet, good beds and easy to find, also very near to everything.
This place is maximum for 4 people, not more and this place is best for friends trip or 2 adult and 2 children, but not for 2 couples as apartment is very small and it is not nice to be in the same room :) Anyway this is a very nice and good place to stay when you are in London. We will be back !!
