I am sorry to hear you lacked some instructions on how things worked.
I've actually never had a guest with so many requirements and questions like you guys had, even BEFORE you booked the place.
I did sent you numerous emails and tried to answer all your questions promptly (e.g. how the washing machine worked, whether there are bedside maps etc) and accurately. Also I didn't assume that for a 4 night stay, you would unpack your suitcases which is why I didn't make space in the drawers. Re the internet, the code was right only that you used small rather than capital letters which caused your troubles to access the WIFI. We did however resolve this in minutes, so I don't quite understand why you are bringing this up here.
As I live in the space myself and the whole concept of Airbnb is about sharing a home, I felt you had some slightly wrong expectations re an Airbnb house. I've been sharing my home for years now and I was never asked for instructions on how the water tab works or how to switch the lights on. If this question came up more often, I would definitely have a manual for these things.
Re the costs, Airbnb shows a 'from' price per night, which might has caused your confusion here. I did also rant you a discount, so I feel I've done a lot to accommodate your needs as you were mentioning you were short on budget.
