Thanks to the charm of its central location, striking designer lines, modern furnishings, and quiet setting, the Orion apartment is without doubt a prime choice for a truly memorable and special stay in Rome.
Located on the ground floor of a beautiful building in a tranquil street of Trastevere, this two-level apartment has recently undergone a full renovation from floor to ceiling, using high-quality materials, fittings and furnishings. White wood floors and designer furnishings create an elegant coziness throughout.
On entering this apartment, you will find an open floor plan which combines the living room with the kitchen area. Here you will find a sectional sofa with double pull out bed which provides comfortable sleeping for the third and fourth guest, a 40” plasma TV, a stereo and a countertop with 4 stools. This living space is made for lively and witty conversation about the topics of the day, and the beautiful open kitchen is just begging for a gourmet chef to set up shop. On this level, there is also a lovely half bathroom with toilet and sink unit only.
The stylish wood and steel stair provides access to the sleeping area on the second level. Here, you will find the lovely bedroom which features a queen size double bed and a wardrobe for guests’ belongings. The en-suite bathroom is spacious and modern. Only the best Italian designs, from the sink to the oversize shower, have been chosen to thrill any guest!
This fantastic apartment is equipped with air conditioning/central heating and wireless internet to enhance the comfort of your stay.
For check-in after 8 PM and for check-in on Sundays an additional cost of 30 euros is requested.
We had an amazing stay at this loft in Trastevere. The loft was BEAUTIFUL (exactly as pictured), with modern furnishings, and very clean. In a great neighborhood, you are a short walk from many fabulous restaurants and only 20 minutes on foot to Centro Storico. You are also very close to the Gianicolo -- I recommend an afternoon hike to the top to take in amazing views of Rome at sunset.
Celeste and Flavia were fantastic hosts -- very responsive and accommodated an early check-in. They provided us with tons of recommendations (restaurants, massage, etc) and the loft has several Italy guidebooks for you to peruse during your stay. I agree that the loft is more suitable for a couple than a group, as the only shower has no door for privacy. The only thing that would have made it more perfect would have been a washing machine… But we loved it here, and would definitely stay there again.
Great location, lots of fun in the evening. Easy to get to from airport. Apartment was great. Air conditioning was an advantage in the hot weather. Would definitely go back!
Celeste and Flavia were great hosts! They accommodated our early arrival time and gave us a tour of the house. When I requested a recommendation for dinner, A traditional Roman restaurant, Flavia made a reservation for us and the meal was unbelievable. Trastevere (email hidden) to stay and this location is perfect. The apartment is better for a couple then a family or two couples because there is no privacy.
Great Area, nice place. You can walk to any spot in Rome
Celeste and Flavia, thank you so much for an incredible stay! You were so helpful and kind and we will always remember our stay at your loft:)
The apartment is very clean and comfortable. We were provided with tons of information and helpful suggestions on Rome and Trastevere. A car was organized for us from the train station upon arrival and to the airport when we sadly had to head home. Both were very stress-free experiences! Trastevere was our absolute favourite area of Rome! So many cute shops and great pubs and restaurants!
Can't wait to visit again someday!
My wife and I stayed in the Loft Trastevere apartment for nine nights in April/May.
It (email hidden) for the two of us, but I cannot imagine staying here with another couple or even with our children, there is no privacy inside the apartment.
If you are looking for a place with old-world charm, note that the ambiance here is that of an IKEA showroom. We didn't plan on spending much time in the apartment (and didn't), so that wasn't a big deal for us. On the other hand, the place was very clean and the kitchen well equipped. We found not just a few plates and pots, but enough that we didn't have to run the dishwasher every day. We had plenty of hot water all the time.
We did not find any use for the TV, as there was only Italian-language channels available, no international cable channels. On the other hand, the internet modem worked well most of the time, so we stayed informed via other means than TV.
The apartment is located in a very quiet area of Trastevere, but only minutes from all the evening action around the local piazzas. We felt completely safe around the neighborhood at all times. A three-minute walk took us to the grocery store and, next-door, the best gelateria we found in Rome (huge portions). This part of Trastevere is outside the core of Rome, but it is close enough that you can walk to anything. 25 minutes to Pantheon, 30 to Forum Romanum, 35 to the Piazza Spagna (and that's all the way across town). St Peter's took us 30 minutes to get to.
The apartment looked exactly like the pictures portray it, although it was considerably darker when the window shutters were closed. Since it has a loft layout, the temperature difference between downstairs and upstairs was at times significant. As someone mentioned, it felt slightly damp unless we kept the windows open. The apartment is located on the ground floor (actually about two feet below the street level), which is convenient but gives you zero privacy unless the shutters are closed (and even then, you can see the sleeping area from the street if it's dark outside and the lights are on inside). As we spent only a couple of hours a day in the apartment, we were not too concerned about that, it can be worked around.
Our hosts were very helpful and arranged for a driver to take us from the airport and back. We strongly recommend having your airport transit pre-arranged, it takes a lot of stress out of the situation; it is money well spent.
Celesta & Flavia were just delightful & helped us out with taxis when needed. The apartment was very clean & close to tram and lots of restaurants.Very quite and appears as it is on the website. Would recommend this stay to anyone visiting Rome. Thanks girls

Positives: Excellent location, spacious and modern apartment, very secure building. Celeste was lovely and great with correspondence!
Negatives: Apartment was very 'damp' - always felt muggy. Was fine when windows were open but was not very practical. Bed was very soft, but not too (website hidden) was very clean except the shower had a bit of mould.
Overall - would recommend this apartment for the price paid but if I had my time again I would have probably spent more for something a bit better.
The loft was perfect for our stay in Rome - very conveniently located, quiet, and comfortable. It has a great shower! Celeste and Flavia are delightful and very helpful. We would definitely stay there again.
We really enjoyed our stay in Celestes and Flavias Loft. Everything was as envisioned by the pictures and especially the location in Trastevere is just terrific.
We'd definitely recommend staying here.
