About this listing
A classic danish 'Patricia Villa' from 1923. Situated 20 mins from the centre of Copenhagen and close to forests, lakes and the Øresund coast. Come and experience Danish hospitality :-)
Our home is a classic danish 'Patricia Villa' from 1923. Situated 20 mins from the centre of Copenhagen and close to forests, lakes and the Øresund coast, it's ideally positioned for a family wanting to explore Copenhagen and the castles of North Zealand.
The ground floor offers a kitchen with all modern conveniences, dining room, lounge and study. There is a sofa bed in the study that can be used as an extra bedroom if needed. The dining room and lounge open up to a 35 m2 terrace that looks out over the 1400m2 garden. The perfect place to sip a glass of wine in the summer whilst watching the kids play in the tree house and on the swings :-)
Upstairs is a master bedroom with king size bed, a child's bedroom with bunk beds, a dressing room and the home's second bathroom.
The newly renovated basement contains the master bedroom with double bed, bathroom, and utility room with full laundry facilities.
Holte town centre is a 10 minute walk and here you will find several supermarkets as well as traditional local shops (delicious baker, cheese shop, fishmonger and wine expert). There are several excellent take aways and cafes. Copenhagen's 'backbone' the S-tog (train) runs from Holte station to Copenhagen every 5-10 minutes.
This part of the greater Copenhagen really is ideal - close enough to be part of the city but also surrounded by nature. We're right next to Rude Skov (Rude Forest, yes it really is called that!) where there are mountain biking trails, horse riding paths and a 2.5km running trail. Come and explore! :-)
Entire house except one storage room in basement.

Friendly, safe and close to everything!
S-tog Copenhagen's railway system is close and incredibly convenient and efficient.
We love to welcome people to our house and trust that you will respect our hospitality and treat our home with care.
Our house stands in its own ground so you won't disturb our neighbours with loud music, - they are all very friendly so please also respect their good nature.
Kitchen with all 'mod cons' - induction hob, separate oven, fridge freezer, dishwasher. This picture taken with mobile - professional ones will follow.
It's a beautiful house a bit outside of Copenhagen, which is an ideal place for a family with young children. We had a great time and would definitely return if we ever would go to Copenhagen again.
We stayed at Stephanie’s wonderful home during New Year 2012 and had a marvelous time. The house is great – lovely kitchen, cozy living room and dining area. The bedroom is quiet and comfortable. Our two young daughters loved the colorful bedroom and bunk bed. Although we didn’t get to be in the garden a lot in midwinter, I believe in the summer it would be an excellent place to enjoy a hot summer’s day. Copenhagen center is within a 20-25 minute drive. Would definitely recommend!
