Incredible report ! Oh yes ... I confirm : After 2 days of stress yes I was very upset when finally they arrive more than 3 hours later than an estimated hour given 2 months ago and according to them to be reconfirmed but never reconfirmed in spite of my repeated demands So i did not know if they will come or not As I received no cancellation from them I thought they will inform me a few days before their arrival They did not inform me of nothing So I decided to ask to the maid to wait for them at first not reconfirmed estimated time : 8 00 Early check in Why not ? I always agree on any early and late checkings if organized in time and without any extra fees... These guests never answered to the big amount of mails textos and phone calls sent to them during the two days before their arrival They have two mails addresses I sent to both mails of course Ok All guests are not the same I asked to the maid to be ready in the loft at 7 30 in case they arrived earlier No arrival at 8 00 No arrival at 8 30 No arrival at 9 00 Till 11 15 no news Then I received a texto asking for address of building ... Though I sent to them 3 days before a reminder of any details of the loft with of course address building entrance code details of lift, floor and door plus any details to make their arrival easy ( bus stop and the like ... though we are in the middle of Paris in a very well known avenue easy to find ) It is not true than they warn the maid in advance they give her only one call saying one hour delay then no more news Total silence No contact If they would be able to warn the maid why did not they answer to my incredibly numerous calls textos and mails ? The maid came specially to the loft to welcome them and had another appontments in the next hours as I told to the guests in advance I had to add that the booking has been made under one name but then I was unable to contact this person She did not reply to me Another person contacted me on her behalf without any explanation on this change creating another confusion and doubt about the safety of this booking but until their arrival problem I did consider that this could happen and was not a true issue But when they remain silent about their arrival then I was surprised and start thinking maybe something wrong about this booking Due to their 3 hours delay ( nearly 4 if counting appropriate welcoming in the loft ) we had to replace the maid for her next appointments at last minute creating a lot of other issues Last minute facts : Then at 11 00 ( 3 hours after supposed arrival time I sent them another set of mails textos and phone calls saying that the maid has to leave and will be back in the afternoon if they contact me No reply I decided to wait 15 min more Then I received the texto asking for address I reply immediately They do not confirm they received the texto And ....they arrived at 11 45 The maid left the loft at 12 10 ... As said yes I was upset Very upset even I do feel like that after more than 24 hours of stress for their unpredictable check in We ( the maid and me ) spent hours waiting any sign of the guests, checking constantly if we received any mail texto or call from them Myself in Myanmar the maid in Paris So I confirm : I probably would be upset next time if this happen again Instead of apologyzing and asking what they could do to solve the disturbance they create, they answer me thatas they were travelling from London by Eurostar it was uneasy to inform to me ... I do ask them to pay extra fees of 60 euros for such an incredible arrival ( I had to pay another person to replace at last minute the maid who cannot welcome other guests in another airbnb at 12 00) They said they have only 20 euros ... So I do start thinking that these guests were too strange and I contact airbnb which told me that in such a case I could ask a cancellation I hate to create issues troubles and problems Then I decided to be patient again and wait for next hours if some neighboors complained about them or if they create additional problem Nothing special happened so I decided to forgive them and live in peace again !!! I love to be quiet ...ans spend my time in good issues with good guests ! I even told them that I will not mention this on airbnb report for avoiding them to get a difficult booking next time and I strongly recommend them to never do that again with another host because it is unacceptable. Instead of being grateful to me they wrote this report So now I do hope anyone can understand the true facts and I do regret to offer them to do not mention the issue on the report This is a good teaching to me. I am welcoming a lot of guests in Paris and in Myanmar from every part of the world : some cannot speak English nor French or Spanish Some speak only Corean or Chinese or Japonese or whatever (These guests live in California ... ) Some never travel abroad We always find a way to manage smoothly even when being in an hectic city like Paris I do understand perfectly that arrival time can be touchy for guest and host. This is why I am very cautious : I always count some delays or advanced time. I ensure too that guests have any information they need mainly when arriving by planes never sure of time to get through immigration desks plus luggage pick up plus traffic jam I know it can be stressfull after a long journey to arrive in an airbnb place These guests arrived at train station inside Paris ( 40 min by bus maximum to reach the loft with no immigration desk to get through..) So as any other guests they received a document with the bus number ( convenient direct and cheap from Eurostar station) plus departure and arrival stops explanations So ... To finish with this long unpleasant story : I remain with a hope : I never face again that kind of issues that happened with these guests Now ... Regarding the lack of water one time during working hours. I do not contest it has been boring and it is true that due to some urgent works in the building the co owners asked for a close down of water delivery for a couple of hours Strangely in this occasion the guests contacted me immediately It seems it is easier to communicate quickly from Paris than from London ! I replied to them that this was due to urgent works beyond my control. These works and short cut off of water was confirmed by pannels in the building ( one of the guests speak French and can read ...)! There are 200 hundreds of co owners in the same building who suffered the same trouble I do apologize for that and told them this will not last long though I perfectly understood the inconvenience. And of course after 3 hours the water was back again. This happened in the middle of the day. Unluckily the guests were not visiting Paris. Maybe they did enjoy to spend time in the loft even without water !!! Let us smile ... Kindly and joyfully

Francoise's place is incredible!!! Everything was set for a perfect stay. The views are breathtaking, you cannot be staying in any place closer to the Eiffel tower. Through the mirror in the balcony, you can see at the same time the Eiffel Tower and the golden roof of Les Invalid…
