About this listing
Welcome to Williamsburg!
Please read the description and FAQ's carefully before making any bookings.
This is a 100% private room with lock and key situated in the heart of Williamsburg. Designed for the traveller on a budget, the room is at the front of my Art/Design studio that I share with my Mom.
Every soul must be included in the confirmation. Children and Babies included.
Inside your room is a kitchenette with microwave, fridge, kettle, toaster.
There is a 40 Inch flat screen TV with cable and WiFi and a fold down couch that is bigger than a double bed and very very comfortable.
My Mom has a living space towards the back of the studio which is a large distance from your room so you will feel quite private.
The bathroom has a shower and toilet and is shared with my mom and other Airbnb guests. There also is a golden retriever that live with my mom. She is very friendly but do not enter the shared space other than to exit for walks.
This is a converted basement warehouse.
Williamsburg has just been crowned the music and art capital of New York State.
- 5 min walk to the Williamsburg Market and East River Ferry
- 12min walk to Bedford ave to the L train.
- 3 stops to Union Square.
- You are also 10 mins from the Williamsburg bridge which you can walk or ride across to the Lower East Side.
I am an Australian who has been living here 4 years now and am often over seas which is when i rent out my place. As some one who came initially on a holiday myself I urge you to check this area out even if you don't stay with me.

You can catch a yellow cab from all air ports for about $40.
From JFK i recommend the cab but if you are travelling light you can catch the Airtrain to Howard Beach. Catch the A train (Blue Line) to Broadway Junction change to the L train (Grey Line) and get off at Bedford Ave. from there it is a 10 min walk up Bedford ave.

Was great to stay at the Brooklyn Budget with Vincent and Alice's Mother, June. Thank you so very much!
Everything was as expected, only our room was smaller than we thaught... We could not keep our suitcases in the room, since we would not have had space to move around anymore. But we got some space in the hallway where we could drop our bags. Since we were there only for sleeping, it didn't really matter for us.
June was very nice and helpful, so everything else was perfect!
Perfectly located in Williamsburg. Room is very small but has everything you need. Friendly host!
June is nice women! It's small room but very clean. There are many shops if I walk a little in near the house. I used it for the first time, but was able to spend anything without being puzzled!
I only met June briefly because I was out so much but she was very nice and welcoming. The room is exactly as described - perfect for budget travelers, but was very clean and safe. I recommend this space for anyone wanting somewhere to stay in Williamsburg who will be out exploring most of the time and just wants a nice safe space to sleep.
Smaller than expected, but enough if you are out all day and just want a comfortable bed. everything was clean and nice. Great neighborhood, Go and take a look around when there! June was a lovely host! Can definitely recommend this place, when you are looking for a cheap and nice place to stay.
It was a nice and cozy room near to Williamsburg Bridge. What you see is what you get. It's small but clean room in Brooklyn. On the first day we walked from the appartement to Times Square (via China Town and Little Italy) in about 90 minutes.
Some shops are nearby and you can check the brooklyn nightlife, which is also nearby. You also can walk to the shopping streets in Brooklyn which are round about 75 minutes of walking away. To get to the next subway you have to walk 5 or 6 blocks.
Yellow cab JFK - Berry St costs approx. 60 USD.
FYI: We are a couple from Germany and we're doing a trip through the US. So we're used to book cheap rooms. June's room was cheap and comfortable and we recommend her place.
