This is a 100% private room with Lock and key situated in the heart of Williamsburg. The room is at the front of my Art/Design studio that I share with my Mom. Inside your room is a kitchenette with microwave - fridge- Kettle - toaster. There is a 40 Inch flat screen TV with NETFLIX and WiFi and a fold down couch. My Mom has a living space towards the back of the studio which is a large distance from your room so you will feel quite private. I have two other Airbnb is this apartment. The bathroom has a shower and toilet and is shared with my mom and other guests. There is a golden retriever and siamese cat that live with my mom. They are very friendly but do not enter the shared space other than to exit for walks. We are 5 min walk to the Williamsburg Market and East River Ferry and 6 blocks down Bedford ave to the L train. 3 stops to Union Square. You are also 2 mins from the Williamsburg bridge which you can walk or ride across to the Lower East Side. Williamsburg has just been crowned the music and art capital of New York State. I am an Australian who has been living here 2 years now and am often over seas which is when i rent out my place. As some one who came initially on a holiday myself I urge you to check this area out even if you don't stay with me.

It is adequate for sleeping 2 people, who plan on spending most of thiere time seeing the sites of New York, not hanging out in their room, Please don't expect a central park penthouse. As it is in the basement, there are no windows.

Smaller than expected, but enough if you are out all day and just want a comfortable bed. everything was clean and nice. Great neighborhood, Go and take a look around when there! June was a lovely host! Can definitely recommend this place, when you are looking for a cheap and nice place to stay.
It was a nice and cozy room near to Williamsburg Bridge. What you see is what you get. It's small but clean room in Brooklyn. On the first day we walked from the appartement to Times Square (via China Town and Little Italy) in about 90 minutes.
Some shops are nearby and you can check the brooklyn nightlife, which is also nearby. You also can walk to the shopping streets in Brooklyn which are round about 75 minutes of walking away. To get to the next subway you have to walk 5 or 6 blocks.
Yellow cab JFK - Berry St costs approx. 60 USD.
FYI: We are a couple from Germany and we're doing a trip through the US. So we're used to book cheap rooms. June's room was cheap and comfortable and we recommend her place.
We were made to feel very welcome upon arrival and the room was as described. Williamsburg seems like a great neighbourhood! Shame we were there only a short length of time.
Room was exactly as described/depicted and perfectly fit my needs as a traveler that needed a place to sleep and little else. Location was also ideal as many cool restaurants, bars and shops are very close while the subway was also a short walk away.
June was also a very sweet host and had some very interesting stories to share. As a first-time solo traveler, she really made me feel comfortable.
We loved our stay at June's apartment. She is awesome, helped us settle down and also suggested us nearby places to eat and visit. Even though the apartment hosted four other guests, we never felt that our privacy was breached. I would absolutely recommend the apartment to anyone who wishes to rent a crash pad in a budget amount.
June's room in Williamsburg is perfectly located, clean and comfortable. June was very friendly and welcoming and I would recommend to any budget conscious traveller to NY
