Private room in Sonoma Cottage

House - Private room · Las Lomas Road, Sonoma, CA 95476, United States

The Space

I have for rent a private bedroom in the Boyes Hot Springs neighborhood of Sonoma. We are located a ten minute drive from downtown Sonoma. The room is beautifully decorated, safe and comfortable. Three blocks away from Sonoma Mission Inn.
There is a communal kitchen where you can cook and store food. There is a coffeemaker, mega blender, juicer and popcorn machine for use. Help yourself to tea and coffee! Our house is very casual, clean and cozy. There is an indoor fireplace to use. The back yard is great to relax with a glass of wine- lots of lovely trees surrounding the property. There is a TV with a DVD player in the living room.
We do have dogs that I keep away most of the time but, they do like to see who is coming into the house so you may hear them greet you. They are quite friendly.
Kids are welcome and there is books, art supplies and a back yard for them to play in. There is another bedroom for rent but the style is more juvenile but cute and clean nonetheless. (Rent both rooms for $160)
The neighborhood is safe and within walking distance of Sonoma Mission Inn and a great coffee shop. Public transit is 3 blocks away. The house is located about 3 miles from the downtown plaza.
I am quite busy between work and home so I will most likely be cleaning, cooking doing laundry or not see me at all :-) I try to give you as much space as I can

Professional massage is available on location for $85 an hour.
We can create a private retreat package just for you! Great safe place to come stay and just get away.

Our place is unique because we all strive to live and work together peacefully and with intention of creating beauty all around us. We ( me n my 2 daughters) live on the property as well. They may be watching a movie from time to time in the living room. They are quiet and respectful and my daughters can offer babysitting services as well. If you need more than one room. If you rent both it is $160 a night. If you would like to use an extra twin mattress or camp on the sofa it is at a rate of $15 extra per person.

  • Julia was such a nice host, and left plenty of room for all of us. Nice house, nice service and really good value for money.

  • Julie's home is warm and welcoming though a little hard to find late at night after wedding party festivities. The big bed is great and Julie even made up a lovely second bed in her living room (pictured to the left) for another wedding guest. Thanks, Julie!

  • Julie is incredible! Super thorough in accommodating our group of three. She is kind and happy to help with any questions. If you're looking for a clean bed in proximity to some of the best wineries, this stay should be a no-brainer.

  • Julie and her family were thoughtful and gracious. From the moment I made a reservation she anticipated my needs and made me feel welcome.

The room was clean, nicely decorated and the bed was very comfortable with plenty of bedding and pillows.

Even though I was only renting a private room Julie offered their living room and I had access to the kitchen as well.

    I will definitely come back.!

  • Julie was a warm, welcoming host -- 5 stars without question! The room was cozy, the bed was comfy, and the bathroom was clean. Julie ensured that our stay went as smoothly as possible -- When the power went out, she ran out to get my friend and me flashlights.

Advice: Take her up on the professional massage! It was the highlight of my trip. (And that is saying something, considering all the wine tasting I did at the beautiful vineyards nearby!)

Thank you for a wonderful stay, Julie!

  • Julie's place was perfect for our two day getaway. I was traveling with my husband, his mother and his aunt so we were not a small group. They have two lovely rooms and a clean bathroom. We used the kitchen the first night for a late dinner. The living room and kitchen are shared but we hardly saw Julie and her family the whole time we were there. Plenty of privacy. We met her husband one morning and he was very kind. We were out most of the day and into the night, so it was great-- beds were comfortable and the area was quiet for a good sleep.

Julie also gave wonderful restaurant/winery recommendations. Thanks for welcoming us into your home! :)

  • Julie was a friendly and welcoming host. She shared some very helpful advice with us regarding how to spend our day in Sonoma. I stayed here with two of my siblings and she even set up a cot for my one brother in the living room. After her initial greeting and welcoming, Julie let us have the cottage to ourselves pretty much. We had every ounce of privacy we would have in our own home. We never felt like we were staying in another person's house!

  • the place is nice and clean and this was all we needed because we stayed there only for the night. we didn't get to meeet Julie because she was out of town, but her assistant Hannah was very nice and friendly. we didn't need the keys because Julie leaves the house open, but we found the neighbourhood nice and safe so from our side there was no need to lock the house. Our GPS didn't find the location of Julie's house so it is better to get Julie's written instruction on how to find her house :)

  • I had a last minute invitation to a birthday party in Sonoma, and Julie was willing to take me in for one night over the weekend. Her home is very cozy and clean. I was not there long, but the bedroom was well appointed, the bathroom clean, and the mattress was great. It was dead quiet at night, so I slept very well. I headed out early for the coast, so I did not try out the kitchen or anything like that. Nice stay.

  • Julie was great! We arrived a little bit early and she was more than flexible! We were a group of three that had a wedding in town. We were looking for the most economical rooming situation, and couldn't be happier with this stay! We weren't around the house much, but the home was clean, beds were very comfortable, shower was hot, and filtered water available in the kitchen. Thank you so much for opening up your home.
