Lagom cabin combines cozy, PNW cabin vibes with Scandinavian simplicity (including a fireplace straight from Norway!) Recently renovated and dog-friendly. Large open living area and dedicated office (work the morning and ski the afternoon!)

Located within the quiet, gated Glacier Rim community, as close as you can get to Mt. Baker Ski Area. Tucked away in the trees so you almost wouldn't know it was there.

The space
Our cabin is the perfect home base for all your outdoor adventures (or quiet retreat...your choice)!

The PNW might be known for its dark winters, but with a two-story open living space and as many windows as you could possibly pack in, we've made sure Lagom cabin is bright and airy no matter the season.

Our newly-renovated kitchen has everything you need to cook up a storm after a long day outdoors: it includes an induction cooktop and oven, full-size refrigerator, and a dishwasher. The two bedrooms (each with a queen-sized memory-foam bed) and dedicated office are all upstairs so you're guaranteed privacy.

Located on the edge of the Mt. Baker-Snoqualmie National Forest, it's also a brief ~20-minute drive to the Mt. Baker Ski Area. You can access hiking and mountain biking trails right across the street from the cabin year round, and you're also within striking distance of prime trailheads, fishing spots, and backcountry ski trails by car.

Guest access
The community amenities at the The Rim are not available for guest use per HOA rules (this includes the pool and tennis courts). However, you're free to walk the community and all open areas at your leisure.

Other things to note
Cell service is spotty in the area (most folks lose reception some time between Maple Falls and Glacier). Please have all necessary directions and check-in instructions available until you get to our place.

We have fiber internet at the cabin so you can stream, make wifi calls, etc.

Power outages are possible during storms, though they are infrequent.

Per community rules, we are required to gather the names of all guests as well as the make and model of cars in order to register your stay. We'll reach out for this info after confirming your booking.

Neighborhood highlights

"The Rim" as it's called, is as quiet as it can get (and since we're on one of the outer roads in the community as well, it's even more private). Very safe neighborhood, you'll often see kids out playing on their own...and of course it's perfect for some walks to stretch the legs!

Just down the road, the community center area is right on the river. There you'll find a playground, off-leash dog area, and plenty of space to run around.

A couple of minutes between the town of Glacier and Chair 9 pizza. Grahams (in Glacier) does have the basics; if you're looking for a larger general store you'll find one down in Maple Falls (~15min drive). Of course, Glacier is also home to Wake'n'Bake for all your coffee and handmade pastry needs!

Hi! My husband Mithun and I have used AirBnB for almost a decade now, and we've stayed in places all over the world (from a farm in Anchorage to a seaside cottage in Sri Lanka). When we travel it's important to us that we stay in places that are much more like a home away from home....that way we feel like we get a much better feeling for the place and get to feel more like locals, if only for a moment. Now we've listed our cabin so we can provide the experience to others as well! We love: snow (snowshoeing, skiing), mountains, hiking, exploring small towns, good food & drinks, biking, and he loves fishing (I just provide encouragement and snacks), and just generally being outside.
