No smoking inside. There is a balcony outside the apartment where you can enjoy you're cigarette, cigar, or pipe.
You are free to use the kitchen as long as you clean up after yourself!
Christopher has been very easy and flexible.
That night was great and my friends enjoyed their short stay there.
The view from the kitchen is great. on the other side the street is peaceful, beautiful and quiet.
This apartment really has the charm of BK heights.
I would definitely try to have my friends stay there next time
The nicest neighborhood in Brooklyn with a bunch of coffee shops and stores, and so close to Manhattan! I rented Christopher's apartment for my mom and three siblings when they came to visit me from Sweden. He has an awesome place, even if it's small it's very comfortable, clean and has beautiful furnishing with cool details. Christopher is super nice and relaxed, I picked up the key in the afternoon and my family arrived late at night so I could just meet them there and let them in. He has a folder with great tourist info about the area, maps, umbrellas we could borrow and the wi-fi worked great. Easy for me to take the subway from my place to the apartment and hang out with my family. Close to Trader Joe's as well! My family was very happy with their stay and having grown up playing Nintendo and one of the sisters studying to become a game developer, we were just thrilled to see that the name of the wi-fi was Bowser's Castle! ;)
Christopher's place was great and clean and exactly like the pictures. It was was enough room for 3 adults, excellent location on the cutest street close to many subway lines. I never met christopher in person but he was very prompt with communication and provided all the information we needed for a great stay! Would definitely stay here again!
Christopher was helpful and responsive and even checked in to see that we were comfortable and satisfied during our stay. The apartment was as promised , spotless and well maintained. Location was perfect for us and close to the most desirable sights in Brooklyn. The view of Manhattan was great. We were very pleased with our stay and our host.
Great neighborhood! Beautiful view of Manhattan across the river...go to roof top - a must. This apartment gave us a true feeling of being a temporary New Yorker!
Christopher was a fantastic host - friendly and very communicative prior to and during the booking. I made this booking for my family who were in town for my wedding and when my parents arrived, Christopher carried their bags up to the apartment for them.
The apartment itself was well decorated and had great views. I would recommend the apartment for younger people. While my brothers (in their 20s) were happy there, my parents (in their 60s/70s) were not as comfortable and the six floor walk up (which Christopher notes in his description) was difficult for them.
Christopher was great to work with. Picking up keys was easy, and he was available during our stay for questions. The apartment location is a bonus - easy walk to the tube, to the waterfront, and to Atlantic Ave. pubs, shops, and restaurants. We were a family of four - adults in one room, kids in the other. The public space isn't big, but we weren't inside that much. Extra towels would have helped, but we made do. We would stay here again.

About the Host, Christopher
I am a 27 year old theater artist and director. I graduated from NYU in 2010 and now live and work in New York City.
I enjoy cooking and good conversation, and definitely love to travel. Ideally, somebody who stays with me, would be somebody who is comfortable hanging out, and sharing their perspective and personality. I have a somewhat sporadic work schedule and when I get the chance to be at the apartment I want everyone to feel at home. As you are my guest, I will provide hospitality and the usual amenities, but I will also think of you as a short-term roommate who shares in taking care of the space. My best guests from the past are people I now call my friends.
