Listing was exactly as described. Accommodations were perfect for my stay in the NYC area. Location was convienent to subway, stores, restaurants.
Christopher made me feel at home. He's an excellent communicator and I would definitely stay again.
Chris was very welcoming, we landed up having a last minute change to our travel plans and he was very understanding. The building is very old and the bathroom could definitely use an overhaul, but the apartment was clean and beautifully decorated. The pull out couch was comfortable for two people and we had a good stay. Also the neighborhood is perfect!
Excellent location and beautiful place in an historical neighborhood in Brooklyn. Chris was very nice and welcoming and he has a very useful folder with all the recommendations, explanations and even FAQ of the apartment and the area. Also, very clean and ordered.
It was a very good overall experience. Even though the room is quite small, the bed was larger than anticipated and very comfortable to sleep 2! Christopher was very flexible with check in and check out time and overall very accommodating. The flat is in a superb area with great restaurants and views just around the corner.
Christopher was helpful and communicated well up to our stay, and was available should we have needed him. He made himself available and was courteous. The place was clean and although the room is a small room, the couch to bed transition enabled the room to be versatile and comfortable whether hanging out or going to bed for the night. location of apt is great and coffee/laundry/food 6 levels down was helpful.
I had a great time staying at Christopher's place last week. Although I didn't get to see him much (since our schedules didn't quite overlap) he was readily available to answer any questions I had. The bed was larger than I anticipated and he provided clean towels, sheets and even toiletries for me to use. The location of his apartment was just a 10 minute walk to the subway and there are plenty of restaurants nearby. I went right downstairs to eat at the Iris Cafe (one of Christopher's recommended places) and it was delicious and super convenient. It's also just a 15-20 minute ride into Manhattan which is great. One note is that his apartment is on the 6th floor, so it may not be suitable for older folks (however the stairs are not steep at all). I would definitely recommend anyone to stay at his place!
I contacted Christopher last minute needing a place to stay. He was a great host. He made booking, checking in, out, and the stay incredibly easy and comfortable.
Unfortunately, I did not have much time to visit while in town but I enjoyed the few interactions we had.
The apartment was very nice, clean and it would be hard to find a better location.
I would highly recommend staying with Christopher to anyone.

I am a 27 year old theater artist and director. I graduated from NYU in 2010 and now live and work in New York City.
I enjoy cooking and good conversation, and definitely love to travel. Ideally, somebody who stays with me, would be somebody who is comfortable hanging out, and sharing their perspective and personality. I have a somewhat sporadic work schedule and when I get the chance to be at the apartment I want everyone to feel at home. As you are my guest, I will provide hospitality and the usual amenities, but I will also think of you as a short-term roommate who shares in taking care of the space. My best guests from the past are people I now call my friends.
