Fabio's apartment is wonderfully located in central Rome, in the middle of all the action yet quiet and discreet. Wonderful quantities of breakfast foods were provided. The apartment was clean and well equipped. Fabio welcomed us to the apartment and we were able to make use of his reasonably priced taxi and tourism services to get to Tivoli and to the airport.
Fabio (Rita's husband) was a fabulous host! From picking us up from the airport (better than taxi!) to showing us the night lights of Rome to taking us to the train station (all for a reasonable fee). The apartment is just like the photos and has excellent maps for first time visitors to Rome. The little shop nearby has everything, the church next door is amazing, the taxi rank is just across the river. The Pantheon is a short walk away. The steps up to Pettinarihome were not a problem for us but could be for some people. The sofa bed is good for one person but probably not two.
A wonderful introduction to Italy. Thank you Fabio for all you did for me and my friend.
Rita's apartment is beautiful - well maintained, centrally located, and stocked with every amenity. We were particularly grateful for the air conditioning which saved us from the Roman heat. Norita (who met us upon arrival) was very helpful and made us feel extremely welcome.
Thank you for everything Rita and Norita - you made our stay in Rome a wonderful experience.

Rita’s apartment was my 3rd and last stay in Italy for my summer vacation – and although my 2 other AirBnB locations were really great – my stay at Pettinarihome in Rome was by far the best! Rita was away and left me in the best of hands with her friend Norita. Rita had done a great job of staying in contact with me before I arrived, and had worked around my late arrival from Riomaggiore. The apartment was very easy to find and is located in a safe area, close to many attractions. Norita made me feel right at home and the place was stocked with some beautiful wine, fridge full and counters full of great snacks, teas and delicious Italian coffee and beverages. And during one of the hottest summers Italy has ever had – the remote control air conditioning was a very welcome sight! Without the slightest hesitation Norita arranged a taxi for me to get to a full-day Roman tour the next day, and then personally took me to my airport hotel on my last day for an excellent fee. She even stopped at a popular local café so I could enjoy my very last cappuccino in Italy. I have already told all of friends and family that they must stay at the apt if they are ever in Rome – the pictures do not lie. The apt is beautiful and spacious and the service is excellent. I will definitely stay there on my next trip to Rome. Grazie mille Rita & Norita for making my stay so extra special!
We will cherish our experience at the Pettinarihome for the longest time. We did not get to meet Rita in person but we emailed and spoke over the phone. We were greeted at the aiport by her husband Fabio and by a firend Norita who made us feel very special from the minute we met. Our luggage was delayed for over an hour, yet they were waiting for us with a smile and took us to this charming apartment, right in the heart of everything. I used to live in Rome so I mean it when I say it is extremely well located: a few steps away from Campo di Fiori, Piazza Navona, Pantheon, Via del Corso but also Piazza Venezia, Foro Romano and Colosseo. The apartment was very clean and inviting. There is anything you need and more. You actually feel you are staying at a friend's house. Fabio and Norita gave us a lot of nice tips and made us feel at home. We will be back for sure and so will you.
Rita and Fabio's apartment is absolutely lovely. It is very homely and within walking distance of all the main attractions! Thank you both very much! :)
Great neighbourhood, close to Ponte Sisto, Campo dei Fiori and easy to walk everyone. Wonderful being picked up at airport, and driven next day, cheaper than taxi, host helped carry luggage. We didn't realise extra bed was in kitchen, host assumed we were a couple and not enough linen. Also noisy with fridge and aircon in kitchen, actual bedroom spacious and comfortable.
