I interact with my guests as much as possible! I don't reside in the listing but I do see my guests as much as I can, especially as my office is located just out the back door in the car park behind the building.

When you arrive, please come to our main building at number 50 Middle Abbey Street for check-in. We are located directly opposite the main entrance to Arnotts department store, just look for the light green house with the orange door.
Ring the bell when you arrive; if I don't answer within a minute or two, just go next door to The Abbey Hotel and ask them to ring me.
Middle Abbey Street is the perfect spot to stay in the center of Dublin. You are just a few minutes walk across the river from the Temple Bar district and a block from fabulous shopping. There are a couple grocery stores within 2 to 5 minutes walking distance. Lots of coffee houses, bars and restaurants just out the door. The kitchen is well equipped - we cooked all of our dinners at home. Nancy is a wonderful host and very personable. She was very responsive to any of our questions and requests.
The apartment was very clean when we arrived and the baby crib we requested was waiting for us.
The plumbing has a mind of its own. The toilet did not flush easily and we were told that this is the case with 30% of all toilets in Ireland, though we just had to take that on faith.
The location is fabulous for exploring the city but does make for a louder night. Most nights it was not a problem, but on Friday and Saturday there were people gathering out on the sidewalk to smoke (outside the pub a couple doors down) until about 3am. My niece was sleeping on the pullout sofa in the front room and was kept up by this a few times during the night.
Nancy was wonderful, very helpful. The apartment is in a perfect spot. The second bedroom was small no room for luggage. Overall the place is just as stated. Thanks again Nancy.
Great location & easy check in and communication.
Four adults & baby visiting from Australia in June. We stayed at the apartment for 2 nights. Excellent location everything you need at your door step. The apartment was comfortable to stay in. Nancy was very helpful and friendly. Would highly recommend if visiting Dublin.
Definitely more self-service than other air Bnbs, you should really plan to eat out: one, because you are in the heart of Dublin and there are tons of good places to eat and two, because this place doesn't really have much for cooking besides basic dishes, cooking utensils and salt/pepper. This is fine but just keep it in mind.
The only thing that detracted from our stay was noise. There were several people screaming and yelling either in or next to our space at all hours of the night. Up above you could hear people banging around late at night and this lead to a poor nights sleep for some.
Nancy was absolutely fantastic. The place was completely new and she provided everything we needed. Stayed with three other people and there was more than enough space.
