About this listing
Come stay with us in this comfortable private room! We love getting to know our guests and hanging out in the living room that at times doubles as an art and music studio, or making a meal together in our open dining space.
This room has a queen sized bed and a couch that can comfortably accommodate an additional guest. Nice clean linens and towels are provided.
When you arrive, if you're not in the mood to go out exploring Providence, you can relax, eat, or work in our lovely open dining area, take a stroll in the park directly behind our house, or if we are working on our projects in the living room, you're more than welcome to join in the creativity with us (we have all kinds of art supplies, instruments, & other music equipment!)
Make yourself at home, if we are home and the door is not closed you're pretty much welcome to the whole apartment!
There is a nice big kitchen that you're welcome to use, and for food and ingredients you can walk to the Price Right located right down the street from us. If we are cooking we'd love for you to join in and enjoy the meal with us! The bathroom is pretty standard, we can provide anything you might need such as towels and toiletries just let us know before you arrive so we can make sure to have it prepared.
Interaction with guests
We would be happy to help you make the most of your explorations in the city. We are often in the process of creating art and you'll be invited but not pressured to join in. Many of our nights are spent going to see concerts and other adventures and you will always be invited to come with us!
We are still getting to know our Neighborhood as we just moved here, but there is a big park right behind our house. There is a huge grocery store (Price Rite) a 2 minute walk from the house! There are old industrial buildings that have been converted to artist lofts and plenty of interesting places to visit within reasonable walking distance.
We live right on the 92 bus line that can easily get you downtown, or to college hill and the Thayer street area.
Other things to note
We love hosting so we often have a few guests staying in the living room in shared space, we also have friends that sometimes come over to hang out or get creative and collaborate with us. If you like to be left alone - this might not be a good fit, if you love meeting awesome people - we'd love to meet you!!!
I would say the number one rule we have is respect... the space and everyone in it. Smiling and laughing is encouraged. Please message us prior to booking a reservation for more than 3 guests. If the booking is for more than one guest, please let us know if you would like us to make up the couch with linens, a blanket and a pillow. Smoking cigarettes is permitted in the area outside the house and other things are at times smoked (medicated) inside. Pets are allowed within reason for a fee ($10), but please no aggressive animals. Please discuss it with us before booking, if you plan on leaving your pet unattended in the house.
Hi my name is Dylan I'm a music producer and I love being an AirBnB host! I love meeting new people, learning about different cultures, collaborating with other creatives and jamming with friends. I am somewhat of a night owl, I enjoy going out to explore the city or staying up late night to work on my projects and making music. I love love having engaging conversations and getting to know my guests!
