  • Plus: The location is very good. Quality-price ratio is excellent. Walking all the day and sleeping is a best variant. There are a lot of groceries around so preparing a breakfast is not a problem. Minus: No elevator (very steep stairs). The TV set can't find any channels.

  • We stayed at this apartment during New Year holidays. Comfortable for three persons - small bedroom with twin bed and a sofa in living room. Clean and warm room, nice shower, very simple check-in/check-out - just call on the way from JFK and Fonzy met us in apartment. Lining and towels were provided. Fridge, gas oven, microwave, tea/coffee maker and toaster were in working condition.
Only headaches are the noize from heating system and steep stairs to 5th floor so do not recommend to people with disabilities.
Very close to subway - 2 blocks from 103th St and 4 blocks from 96th St (line 6). 10-15 minutes walking to Central Park.
A lot of eateries nearby. Can recommend Joy Burger bar and MY NY bistro at the same block. Very nice Ricardo Steakhouse not so close but in walking distance (110th St / 2nd Ave). Starbuck is on the corner of 96th St.

  • We had a nice stay in NY. The appartment is really fine for two or three. It was clean and well equiped. Very hard is only to climb the 5 stairs with your luggage or after long days visiting the City.... Subway is near and some good food may be found just donwstairs... Thanks again and hoppe to come again.

  • Anna/Fonzy were good hosts. Good communication leading up to our stay with any questions we had. They gave us instructions to call them once we were in the shuttle from the airport. Our shuttle didn't take as long as they expected so we had to wait outside the apartment for about 20min before they Fonzy showed up to give us the key. Apartment was clean and the linens smelled good! Fonzy made me practice with the keys to make sure I could open the doors okay. It was just a few blocks from the subway station which made transportation very easy. There was a water pipe in the corner of the living room with a very noisy valve that would go on and off throughout the day/night, other than that I have nothing bad to say! I would recommend this apartment/host. Thanks Anna/Fonzy!

  • Overall good experience. The place was clean and the bed was very comfy. Fonzy was there waiting for us when even if we arrived a bit late and everything was explained very clearly. Only "bad" points were the sofa (not very comfy), the TV (only a few channels) and the internet (the cable phone/router is a bit loose and we took half a day to figure that one out). But well: we were there to explore NYC so prefect location! Overall highly recommended!

  • To begin our visit in NY we waited 1 hour in the stairs to get the keys cause the owner was late. I have to say that the place is clean and the a/c is pretty acurrate, but its the only good things i have to say. After walking around for a while we realise that we were in a really creepy neighberhood. At least its a 15 minutes walk from centralpark. When we got back from our first day, we realised that there was no electricity at all in the bedroom. Its a litle frustrating when you pay 142$ a night. And the owner didnt come to fix it . Its sad because overall the place is quite oki...

  • We had a great time at this apartment. The location was fabulous!! A very short walk (a few blocks) to the subway. It was only a few blocks to Central Park and museums. There are lots of places to eat and shop nearby. It was very easy to get the keys to check-in and check-out. Anna and Fonzy were both very helpful throughout the trip. When leaving, my husband accidentally left his sunglasses in the apartment. Fonzy was very kind and made it easy for my husband to get them back. The apartment was very comfortable (after climbing the 5 flights of stairs). We felt very safe in the area. We would definitely come back in the future.
