My space has two houses available for rent. Also there are three separate rooms suitable for artists or meditators. Each unit has its own bathroom. One house has its own kitchen and there is also a communal kitchen.
The structures all have a unique architectural style and for the most are flowing organic forms made using the ferro cement technique. My wood art and furniture is a decorative feature in the houses.
We provide guidance in Vipassana meditation to those interested as well as classes in Tai Chi, sculpture and painting.
We have an organic garden, chicken house and a Tilapa fish pond.
Guests can count on space that is interesting functional and comfortable.
We are located on a bluff, have few close neighbours and are 10=15 minutes from Valle de Bravo which is designated as a Pueblo Magico and has many attractions for tourists and travellers. Near us there are stores providing basic necessities as well as a number of restaurants.
Guests have access to taxi service to Valle de Bravo nearby.
Buses to Mexico City are available in El Arco which is nearby.
Our place is unique for its view of the lake and the mountains that surround us. Our architecture has been admired by many, including architects. We are solidly situated on a former stone quarry that we are in the process of transforming into an organic self sustaining green environment.
Our stay at Victor's place was amazing! As a matter of fact, we just wanted to 'be' there and skip Valle de Bravo altogether. The place is even better than the photos (always a nice surprise), super comfortable and I was delighted to even find wifi and (at times scalding) hot water. I felt honored to stay here, to live among incredible sculptures and sculpted furniture in thoughtfully designed sculpted homes filled with art. Everywhere you look there's beauty, inside and out. Our group (6) felt welcome and right at home. If you're in the area, you should not miss this place, a destination in itself!
Victor was a great host. Everything was ready, clean and well maintained, and the house was beautiful. His wood work adds great uniqueness to the place and the whole place has a true aura of peace and tranquility. We loved the way the house was built, with the sun coming inside the room to wake us up in the morning, and a really nice kitchen outside where we spent lots of time! We are grateful to Victor for allowing us to have our little dog with us, she truly enjoyed it.
Victor was an amazing host and his place is super nice. The architecture and details are very unique and it has a fantastic view. He's not an ordinary guy. He's an inspiring artist with great views and ideas. Very welcoming. We will definitely stay with Victor in our next visit to Valle! He's a very interesting person and his place is beautiful.
Very nice property, just read the description very carefully about exact location, it is far from Valle de Bravo. You´ll need a car, as it is listed as not having heat, make sure it is practical for you.
We loved staying at Victor's place. I have used Air BnB quite a few times so I was familiar with the process, my friends less so - we all really enjoyed staying at his place and were surprised with how comfortabel and relaxed we felt there. Victor is a great character with lots of stories to share, when we arrived he generously greeted us with a bottle of wine which was a fab start to the trip! The house is a unique set up - lots of little abobe style houses, some with their own kitchen, others with a shared kitchen (ours), scattered across a few acres with a great view of Valle de Bravo. THey are all filled with Victor's incredible furniture which makes out of red cedar, from doors to chairs to bookshelves, it's very thoughtful and unique. Please note, you do need a car, as it is in a small town about 5-10 minutes drive from Valle. The house is in the bush, so don't expect sanitised everything, it's rustic and relaxed, and I think that's what makes it so special. We really enjoyed the location and relaxing in the house, making breakfast and enjoying the serenity, etc. He also runs meditation retreats so there was a french guy meditating in the house next door, which we didn't find an issue at all.
