  • The condo was great! Clean and beautifully decorated! Everything you need is there. It is so close to the museums that I was able to walk. A great little coffee shop is right around the corner too!

  • My daughter and I stayed in a very clean and updated studio apartment. Loved the location as it was close to the National Mall and more important my son residence. It was a great vacation place in walking distance to the metro. No car was need. My son liked the apartment so much he wanted a place just like it.

  • The primary benefit of this apartment is its location - right near to Union Station, the Metro and the Capital Bike Share Scheme - all contribute to making the most of a visit the Washington DC. The studio is ideal for a couple or single, is comfortable and quiet. There are a number of restaurants and fast food suppliers within easy reach, Kyoto, a Japanese restaurant to name but one, immediately below the apartment.
This apartment is operated by a company and is not your private dwelling of an owner looking to supplement his income. They are clinically very efficient in their communications and process, if a little lacking in the warmer personal touch.
    Would happily recommend.

  • This was the first time I used airbnb, and I have to say I would do it again! I had a great stay at this apartment. It's close to the metro, which made getting around DC very easy. There are various restaurants close by and close to the Capitol building. The apartment is clean and looks exactly like the pictures. Charlotte is a great host, and very easy to get in touch with.

  • This place is perfect for visiting DC! It felt like we were at a home away from home, everything we needed was there. We loved the proximity to Union Station and the Capitol and the nearby restaurants were great. We would definitely stay here again.

    October 2013
  • The apartment was in a very good position, close to the Union Station (where our bus stopped) and within walking distance to the Smithsonians if you don't mind hoofing it. The Washington subway is very easy to use too, and as mentioned, Union Station is close.
The apartment had everything we needed to enjoy our stay, including fast Wi-fi, and everything was clean. There is a good pizza place right across the road, a great wine store handy and a convenience store around the corner.
The host provided about attractions in Washington too.
The only possible drawback is that it is on a busy road and there was some traffic noise.

My business is DC LuxeAccomodations, we offer short-stay properties in wonderful neighborhoods in Northwest Washington including those areas in high demand by visitors, i.e. DuPont Circle, Georgetown, Palisades and Capitol Hill. We offer studios to full homes for stays of 4 nights up to 8 months. Let us know your travel plans and we will find the best fit for your needs. Be generous and share the knowledge of LUXbnb, your source for short-stay rentals in Washington, with your friends, family adn colleagues. Our latest addition are vacation properties for Washingtonians. See the Washington Vacations section on our website for homes in the nearby mountains. Take a few days away from the bustle of the city to explore our bucolic countryside little changed over the past 2 to 3 centuries. Visit wineries and orchards, significant Civil War battlefields and historic towns, hike the Apalachian Trail or follow in the footsteps of our founding fathers by visiting their homes. There is plenty to do that beckons you to leave the city for a weekend or a week. A bit about me...I am a former Californian who, after 12 years in DC, is now an honorary Washington native. Being well traveled both domestically and internationally has given me a great appreciation for the enrichment contact with others brings to our experience. I am well-versed on the "must-see" sights, monuments and museums of our culturally rich city, along with the unique experiences your find only in Washington. We share that insight with our guests in our property Welcome Guides which we send upon confirmation. We very much enjoy hosting visitors to our Nation's Capital and ensuring that they are able to make the most of their visit. Charlotte Perry Founder, LUXbnb Your short-stay source in Washington.
