Small room in a lovely area. All you need to have a wonderfull stay in Roma!
Small and comfortable room in rome. Located in the Pigneto, one of the most funniest zones of the city, full of nightlife, bars and restaurants. Fifteen minutes by bus from Termini Station, Tiburtina Station and San Giovanni.
The room is in a small apartment but very pleasant and bright. The Bathroom in very small, but there is everything you need.
I live here too, so you will have to share tiny bathroom and the kitchen with me.
I will give you spare keys so you can move at your own way.
The neighbourhood is really well served, you have several bus lines and trams that will take you to to central station in 15 minutes.
Pigneto is the best way to know Roma if you don't want to be catched in a tourist trap!
Read my reviews! they talk much more about myself.
I would like to recive inquiries from people who has nice accounts.
If I'm expected to open you my house, I would like to know something about you: who you are, who are you coming with, what are your plans in Roma. Let me know you are the right person to give you the keys of my house. Let me know you can be a friend and not only a guest.
Last, but not least, this is a anti homophobic and antiracist house, please feel free to look for another place to stay if you don't agree with this. Peace.
internet access, bike rental information,
Some times i spent lot of time at home, some others we will rarely see each other.
one of the most funniest areas in town, full of bars, restaurants, clubs.
15 minutes by bus or tram to central station.
Even though we did not have the chance to meet Sofia, this is a cool place to be in Rome. Go meet her or Ersilia (Sofia’s friend), go see this newly vibrant neighborhood, go talk with the people about life in Rome, about politics, music, love, food, go sip some of Rome’s best cafés just next-door (Necci)…this friendly contact will give to the Coliseum, the Forums and your whole stay, a much human feel.
Everything was great ot Sofia's place.
She was great and her home is really cozy and nice.
The reservation was canceled 49 days before arrival. This is an automated posting.
We had a perfect stay. Sofia is a marvellous woman and made us feel very welcome. The night that we arrived we were very tired and a little bit lost and Sofia was kind enough to come and meet us (we weren't far away after all... but it really helped). Pigneto is a fantastic area, the best cappuccinos for only a euro!! Also loads of choice for really good food and wine (also cheap). We indulged. Sofia was a dream and I hope to meet her again.
Sofia is a great host! She is such a relaxed person, happy to help out with anything we needed (or when I forgot my keys) and recommended some great places for eating and drinking. The room and the apartment were perfect for me and my friend, it was great to play a guitar again and the roof top terrace was incredible! Thanks Sofia!
Sofia est une hôte charmante. La chambre est confortable et la maison particulièrement bien placée. Il y a tout ce qu'il faut dans le quartier pour passer un bon séjour à Rome.
Le café à l'angle est vraiment accueillant, à tester.
We met Sofia practially only in our last day. Her friend Hercilia was who actually showed us the place.
Regarding the door lock episode, I believe it is too premature to comment on it, since the matter is not yet settled. Also, to assume we broke it is something really debatable.
We actually tried to talk with Sofia on the day of our departure, but apparently she wasn't home. I expected someone a little more open to dialogue, but instead the day before we were almost threatened to pay a certain amount, or else she would claim the whole caution (which she took for granted).
Finally, to judge us a "kind of people that need hotels and hostels, not normal peoples houses" sounds precipitate, unnecessary and not based on a palpable experience, since we barely know each other.
I only hope that Airbnb will settle this issue in a fair way.
Sofia was a very friendly host. Too bad we didn't get to meet each other for long as she's been on biz trip. We only met once upon our arrival. She was also very informative and gave us a few pointers during our stay. Her friend Ersilia was very helpful in hosting us while Sofia was away.
The bathroom was a bit small but enough for our use. Room was clean with a big window looking into the backyard. Kitchen was available for our use as well. To sum up, it's very functional with stable wifi connection (very important for us as we need it for business as well as trip planning use).
Pigneto area was a great location to stay in Roma. 15 mins tram ride (#514) from the main Termini station, and then approx. 7-10 mins walk after you get off the "P.le Prenestino" tram stop. You get to stay at a quite neighbourhood after a long day of activities.
There was also a nice cafe called "Caffe Berardo" right across the P.le Prenestino tram stop. It's got a nice and laid back environment. We had breakfast there twice. I would definitely recommend this place and will choose to stay at Sofia's place again if we revisit Roma. =]
Having stayed for 2 nights, i can tell that Sofia is a great host. She even gave necessary travel informations, a map, and transport info & hours. Highly recommended !!! :)
