Hazel was an amazing host! Very knowledgeable and peronable. Offered great suggestions for activites, restaurants, and easy to follow directions. The place was in a great location. Very close to the beach, the national park, and supermarkets! Really enjoyed our stay here and would highlyrecommend this place!

We enjoyed our stay! The pool area is delightful, and the living space basic but comfy. Among the efficiency's plusses: reliable hot water (not always a given in CR), and a nice assortment of bath and beach towels. The kitchennette is well-equipped for fixing breakfasts, if you're so inclined. The AC does a great job of quickly cooling off the sleeping area, along with a nice, strong fan at the foot of the bed. Everything in Manuel Antonio is a quick drive (or bus ride) away.

Beautiful little studio, just the right size for us and our young son. Kitchen included a hot plate, microwave, toaster, coffee maker. Lots of fresh towels. We loved being able to cook our meals if we wanted, especially with the great farmers market on the weekend in Quepos. Coffee and sugar were provided, which was perfect for lazy mornings. The hot water was plenty, and the air conditioning worked very well. Location is good - right between Quepos and MA, can walk to Quepos easily, but not to MA, as the road is steep and dangerous. We used the public transit which was simple, but on rainy nights it was a little inconvenient if you needed to go out in the downpour to get groceries or go for dinner. There are no stores or ATMs nearby, so make sure you stop in town to get what you need! Hazel was very helpful and friendly and arranged a zipline tour with Safari Tours that we LOVED! I went to the Raindrop Spa down the hill and had one of the best treatments of my life ;) There were monkeys and macaws in the trees and the pool was beautiful. Overall a fab stay!

The apartment was perfect. Well appointed and stocked with everything you need. Hazel was readily available if needed and provided valuable information about the area. The pictures are exactly accurate and the pool was a pleasant feature of the property. You can have your coffee and enjoy the monkeys, numerous birds and of course, iguanas. Also two friendly cats. All in all a great place to stay.

Hazel was fantastic from the beginning! She provided excellent communication before our stay and the day of our arrival greeted us at the condo and spend about 30 minutes providng a great overview of the area. The condo was nice and it was awesome to have a personal air condititioner and wall fan. The room cooled down very quickly after being out in the hot humid weather and we greatly appreciated that. The pool was such a nice bonus! We used two of the three days we were there. After hiking in the rain forest it was a nice cool and relaxing place to come back to. Overall we really enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend it!

Hazel User ProfileHazel is a superhost.

I landed in Manuel Antonio from the UK in 2007 on an adventure to study spanish and scuba dive. I fell in love with the country, the culture, the language and wanted to explore more. I made my travels around Latin America and somehow always ended up back in Costa Rica to visit friends. 2.5 years after my first visit I made the decision to stay and have loved it ever since. The air is fresh, the sun is always shining and people live day-to-day based on "pura vida" - the national phrase which means "pure life"!
