The host Carol was very accommodating. Very quiet neighborhood, but close to main access roads and highways. Great location on the edge of a lake with a wonderful view. Comfortable bed with adjacent office room to work with fast internet access. Would stay again
This house on the lake is just amazing. Unfortunately we got there at night and it was raining the next day, so we couldn't enjoy the view. But we enjoyed the room, the bathroom and the kitchen a lot. It is lovely decorated. Since we arrived late, we couldn't talk to Carol a lot, but she gave us detailed descriptions about everything we needed to know. We could use the flat as it were ours, so we felt at home right away! Thank you Carol, for hosting us, it was a great experience!
Carol was wonderful and the location was beautiful. I enjoyed the serenity after a long day at my conference located in Back Bay. It was a long drive, but worth every minute. I highly recommend the accommodations.
A special thank you for the extras....the coffee and morning granola were wonderful touches. Very comfortable bed and great shower too.
Carol emailed a welcome, met me upon arrival and had a handwritten note as well. She gave me a tour of the house and suggested a beautiful wildlife watching place, and set out a brochure. Her house is in a lovely setting on the lake, with flowering lily pads in early August. A well maintained and large garden. I stayed upstairs, only overnight, had a shower in the spacious bathroom, slept well in the waterbed. I ate my own food for breakfast, made a cup of tea, and was on my way. It was a very peaceful place after a busy week. Thanks Carol!
I felt welcomed and the neighborhood was ok, not really scary but a little twisty roads and also the driveway was really tight. Carol is very nice and her home was clean. I don't remember if the listing mentioned it or not but the bathroom is through the kitchen and that was a bit of an issue for me. There is also no way to secure your personal belongings since there are no locking doors and that bothers me. I had a good stay but those issues made it so I would not stay again.
