I am not surprised the guest has left a less than stellar review, as despite my efforts to meet and exceed their expectations; they were malcontent. Immediately after the guest checked-in, I realized I would need help to with the guest and contacted the Emergency Host Hotline. Air BNB has a system to intercede with guests and hosts when issues arise. In the past year, I have hosted over 30 guests without a single complaint. My Air BNB rating for cleanliness is 5 star; communication is 5 star. I enjoy hosting guests in my apartment, and as I personally travel so much; I understand how rapid response and the guest experience is #1. I am thankful the Air BNB team was available to assist. Air BNB assigned a case manager to intervene and then it escalated to a supervisor to communicate/mediate with the guest. Air BNB case manager’s shared with me that I went above and beyond to meet the guests needs. Despite telling the AirBNB supervisor my apartment was “unliveable” on day 1; they stayed for 5 days. I would be more than glad to discuss any/or answer any questions or concerns you have about the guests’ comments regarding cleaning; amenities or timely responsiveness. Please reach out at any time.
