As a special request, it would be great if you could make use of the many coasters we have around our place, instead of putting cups and glasses on directly on our wood furniture.
Everything was as described. The place was 2 blocks from the train, a safe neighborhood, and close to downtown. We had no issues and communication was smooth and prompt. The place was very homey and comfortable for 4 people. I would absolutely stay here again.
The description is very accurate. While a little bit removed from the downtown core the space was very welcoming and in a safe and nice neighbourhood. There is a woman who makes fresh tortillas around the corner and I would 100% recommend giving them a try. We had a good time and the proximity to the subway is wonderful. Thank you!
House was nice and clean and Dani and Dave provided us with breakfast as well.
We found Dani and Dave's apartment to be perfect for our short stay in Chicago. It included all the necessary amenities and was very conveniently located near a metro stop. Dani and Dave provided great brochures/information on Chicago's attractions and transportation services. Needed clarification that parking on premises meant street parking, but otherwise our visit went smoothly. Overall, I would definitely stay here again, if I were in Chicago.
Only advice would be that, as three girls visiting, arriving at dark, we were a little nervous by the characters occupying the neighborhood, and I would definitely suggest arriving by day.
We have had a very friendly welcome by Dani&Dave, they were very kind and informative. It was a convenient location, close to CTA to downtown (thanks for letting us use your Ventra cards). It was hot inside, but we came when it was unusually hot weather. The apartment has everything you need. Parking was not easy, but we were able to find a spot in the street.
We had such a lovely time staying at Dani and Dave's place. We felt right at home and it was easy to travel into the city each day. The hosts were really helpful with parking and really communicative. Safe area, clean apartment and it was nice that foods were available for breakfast. Thanks!
We (two young couples) picked Dani & Dave's apartment because it was near the pink line and Union Park for Pitchfork Music Festival. We were pleasantly surprised by the convenience of the neighborhood (nearby grocery stores and Walgreens). Each bedroom comes equipped with a full-sized bed, AC unit, bath towels, and bars of soap. The apartment was clean, tidy, and offers a charming view of the neighborhood.
