I live in a three-story twin built in 1900. It features high ceilings, large windows and private rooms fully decorated and sleep ready. There is a second floor laundry room which guests have access to. There is one parking spot in the lot and endless street parking. There is a front porch and enclosed back porch—both with seating. All throughout the house my love of art is ever-present. There is 1 full bath on the second floor and a 1/2 bath on the first floor. There is high-speed wireless internet. I'm more than happy to give you a detailed listing of all places you might enjoy once I get to know you. The shortlist would be First Fridays in Phoenixville, First Fridays in Philadelphia, French Creek National Park, Hopewell Furnace, St. Peter's Village, The Philadelphia Museum of Art, along with many other sites to see in Philadelphia. Phoenixville alone boasts a ton of wonderful restaurants, coffee shops and social clubs. I moved here because it has a quaint European feel—yet you still see the Philadelphian influence throughout.
Cynthia was a great host and very accommodating. The house was in a quaint neighborhood very close to town. She was very good about making sure I had everything I needed and had some good suggestions of places to eat in town. Her home was very tastefully done and very neat and clean. The bed and bedroom were fine and I had access to most all of the house. Cynthia is very friendly and made me feel at home. I would definitely recommend Cynthia's Airbnb.
Nice clean place. Short walk to downtown. Host allows you your space. Although you can watch TV downstairs, one in the bedroom would be a bonus. Overall good experience. Recommended.
There are 3 great things with this listing: 1) the host 2) the house 3) the neighborhood. Cynthia is a fantastic and accomodating host, i have nothing but praise for her. The house is lovely, 3 floors with multiple stairwells and turn-of-the-century details. Finally, Phoenixville is great, we were fortunate enough to get a First Friday AND a farmer's market, both of which are extremely brief walks from the house. I only wish i could have extended my stay a few more days to experience BlobFest!
I stayed with Cynthia for 6 weeks, while completing an internship in the area. Cynthia was very nice and provided me with everything that I needed.
Cynthia was a wonderful hostess - the perfect balance between being responsive and respecting our privacy. The room was comfortable and was as described on the listing. We would not hesitate to go back!
Had a great time at Cynthias' place. She has a very nice and charming house and the room is lovely. The place is perfectly located in walking distance to phoenixville downtown, which has lots of bars and restaurants. Still, the house / room is very quite. Cynthia is great,.. She was super friendly and gave good tips and ideas on what to do in the area. As I was traveling back and forth, I booked several times with Cynthia in the last months,.. Thanks
About the Host, Cynthia
My favorite travel destination to date is Italy. I love all things Italian—food, wine, art, culture, decor, architecture. I've also visited outside the U.S. in Scotland, Aruba and the Dominican Replubic. I'm looking forward to traveling to other locations in the future. I love animals, especially dogs! I like all kinds of music and dancing. I enjoy exercise, specifically running. I'm a web designer and in the field of business development related to the business of art. In my free time I participate in local juried art shows and practice watercolor painting and drawing.
What is it like being a guest in my home? I live in a twin built in 1900. It is three stories, with a second floor laundry. It has a lot of character between the original architecture and my style of decorating. You will feel at home in a space that is surrounded by the old and new with tons of books, spaces to lounge and my art studio to poke around in. I'm happy to take you out to site see—whether it be the state park nearby, old villages with a ton of character or a night out in Phoenixville or Philadelphia to enjoy the nightlife in Southeastern PA.
My life motto would have to be: The truth will set you free. I've realized it is important to live out your dreams and make goals for yourself. I enjoy experiencing new environments and meeting new people. I love this world and all that it has to offer and I'm looking forward to enjoying the current moment and what is beyond.
