I live in a three-story twin built in 1900. It features high ceilings, large windows and private rooms fully decorated and sleep ready. There is a second floor laundry room which guests have access to. There is one parking spot in the lot and endless street parking. There is a front porch and enclosed back porch—both with seating. All throughout the house my love of art is ever-present. There is 1 full bath on the second floor and a 1/2 bath on the first floor. There is high-speed wireless internet. I'm more than happy to give you a detailed listing of all places you might enjoy once I get to know you. The shortlist would be First Fridays in Phoenixville, First Fridays in Philadelphia, French Creek National Park, Hopewell Furnace, St. Peter's Village, The Philadelphia Museum of Art, along with many other sites to see in Philadelphia. Phoenixville alone boasts a ton of wonderful restaurants, coffee shops and social clubs. I moved here because it has a quaint European feel—yet you still see the Philadelphian influence throughout.
Cynthia and her home are both lovely, I was there for a work assignment and would definitely go back..she is wonderful.
Cynthia's place was awesome, accurately described in the description. She was really chill and fun to talk to, an awesome personality and always ready to help. She gave me rides from Phoenixville to the Conventional Centre at Oaks a couple of times which was super awesome of her.
Also her place is very centrally located and is a short walk from all the cool places in town. Would definitely stay with her if I ever visit Phxville. Also her Dog - Jammer, is the man!
Cyndy was a great host. She always made sure I was up to date on anything that was happening at her place and made sure that there wasn't anything that I needed. She has a wonderful house and its in a great proximity to the city. A fabulous place to stay.
I stayed with Cynthia last week and it was a great experience! She was VERY welcoming and made me feel right at home. The listing was very accurate and the trip exceeded my expectations. The bedroom was very large and the bed was comfortable. I knew beforehand that there wasn't a TV in the room but she invited me to use her living room to watch TV if I desired. She also invited me to use her refrigerator/freezer if needed during my stay. The bathroom on the 2nd floor was very large with a great amount of counter space. The water pressure was awesome and it was great getting ready each morning in this area. She also provided towels when I arrived which I thought was very nice. Cynthia also allowed me to park behind the house which made it convenient for me to leave and return from work each day (as there is parallel parking out front). I am completely happy with my stay in Phoenixville and highly recommend Cynthia's house to others. She is a GREAT host and will make sure that you're comfortable and that all of your needs are met. Because of my work schedule, I didn't get to explore the area much but there are many restaurants and shops nearby and it seems to be a lovely town.
I stayed with Cynthia for 1 month as I was on a hospital rotation for the month of July. Her house is about a 5 minute drive to Phoenixville hospital and a 2 min drive over a bridge to the main part of the town that has tons of little shops/restaurants/bars. It is also about a 10 minute drive to the neighboring town of Collegeville which has a huge outside shopping center with a Starbucks, Wegmans, LA Fitness, and many many other stores.
I stayed in the upstairs room towards the front of the house that was very spacious. There was a lot of dresser space and a nice sized closet for hanging clothes. The TV in the room works, but there is no cable (which wasn't a problem as I mostly was out of the house or studying). There is a TV downstairs in the living room with cable TV . There is one full bathroom upstairs and a half bath downstairs. The kitchen was a great size and has everything you need if you decide to cook.
Cynthia was extremely helpful during my entire stay. She always let me know when she would need the shower as to make sure we didn't both need it at the same time. She also changed my sheets and towels half way through my stay which was very nice of her.
Overall, Cynthia made my stay in a new town very welcoming! If you need a room in Phoenixville area, this is a great place & close to a lot of activities! She also has an adorable 10 year old chocolate lab that is very peaceful :)
Very good experience. Cynthia is welcoming, and the accommodations are clean, simple, and within easy access of the town and surrounding areas. The area is in a older part of town with a nice mix of families and single working people.
My favorite travel destination to date is Italy. I love all things Italian—food, wine, art, culture, decor, architecture. I've also visited outside the U.S. in Scotland, Aruba and the Dominican Replubic. I'm looking forward to traveling to other locations in the future. I can't live without my dog Jammer. He's a twelve year old chocolate lab—with a huge heart. I like all kinds of music and dancing. I enjoy exercise, specifically running. I'm a web designer and in the field of business development related to the business of art. In my free time I participate in local juried art shows and practice watercolor painting and drawing.
What is it like being a guest in my home? I live in a twin built in 1900. It is three stories, with a second floor laundry. It has a lot of character between the original architecture and my style of decorating. You will feel at home in a space that is surrounded by the old and new with tons of books, spaces to lounge and my art studio to poke around in. I'm happy to take you out to site see—whether it be the state park nearby, old villages with a ton of character or a night out in Phoenixville or Philadelphia to enjoy the nightlife in Southeastern PA.
My life motto would have to be: The truth will set you free. I've realized it is important to live out your dreams and make goals for yourself. I enjoy experiencing new environments and meeting new people. I love this world and all that it has to offer and I'm looking forward to enjoying the current moment and what is beyond.
