Beautiful ground floor unit, sleeps 5-6, fantastic water views, located 1/2 way between Brisbane and Sunshine Coast, convenient drive to both. Beach directly opposite. Really close to shops,clubs,park,walking/riding tracks. Guests absolutely love it!
Please book well in advance as our beautiful unit books out really quickly!! This ground floor unit offers itself with spacious living and dining areas overlooking Pumicestone Passage and has been recently refurbished. It has stunning views and a fantastic huge park, adjoining the water, right across the street. Kitchen has room to move when cooking up that seafood, caught across the road. Boat ramp just one minutes' drive away, & shops a 75 metre walk. You'll have a wonderful relaxing stay in this neat sizable 2BR unit. Our guests all love the unit, and write very glowing reviews in our guest book.

Our unit is in a really beautiful area, that is safe for families and kids night and day. People around here are friendly, and you'll find shopping, eating, just getting around a pleasant experience. It's only a few minutes drive to any of the great spots on Bribie Island. 45 mins to Brisbane Airport, 55 mins to Brisbane city, 30 mins to Australia Zoo, and not much more to the Sunshine Coast. Gold Coast about a 85-90 min drive.
We haven't air-conditioned the unit, as it is warm in our nice Queensland Winters, and cool and breezy in Summer.
Bookings of 4 or more days avoid the $50 cleaning fee. (the booking robot will automatically add the $50 cleaning fee, but we will send you a special offer without the fee, when you enquire)

2nd Bedroom.... 1 x Double bed (bottom) / single bunk (top). 1 x Roll-away bed for the sixth guest.

Easy access to swimming (across the road) all water sports, shops, parks, restaurants, clubs, fantastic views, free barbecue shelters across the road, walking and riding tracks (2 bikes provided), ocean (surf) beaches a short drive away. Convenient drive to Brisbane or Sunshine coast, and many many more attractions.
Interaction with Guests
We interact with our guests by email, phone and personally meet and greet each and every guest, and try to inform them of all the great features of our unit and fantastic activities available to them, right on their doorstep.
Bribie and its' surrounds are "picture postcard" beautiful. It is one of the best kept secrets in South East Queensland. A short drive from Brisbane or Sunshine Coast. The Sunsets from the front patio of the unit are fantastic and often stunning!! People in our area are very friendly, and will often chat with you and be interested in where you're from. Most guests arrive by car and then use it "a little" for getting around, but not that much. Many attractions are in easy walking distance. Public transport exists, but I doubt you would use it.
Other Things to Note
Fully self-contained unit, with everything you would ever need, including Barbecue, Bikes, Books, Games, DVD player, but best of all......the water just across the street.
Normal holiday rental property rules apply. It is expected that the place is left in a same state as it is found. Obviously we do a clean after guests vacate, but it expected to be left in a clean and tidy state.
If you use the stove, the oven, the microwave, the Barbecue, please clean them.
Please put rubbish in the provided plastic bags and deposit in the appropriate bin, either general (green) or recycle (yellow-top) bins.
Please clean the clothes dryer lint filter after every use, as to not do so, is a fire hazard.
Please empty dish-washer and return washed items to the cupboards.
No Smoking inside. Smoking allowed on balcony. Sorry No Pets.
Everything was as described in the information or even beyond! The unit was really clean and tidy and included all the items needed with some extra :). The hosts were really lovely and helpfull. We felt really welcome. The view from the unit to the ocean was beautiful. We recommend this apartment to anyone visiting Bribie Island!
Wonderful clean spacious apartment with everything you need at your disposal. Complimented with views which are glorious. No need to use the car once you've parked as everything is in walking distance. Wonderful hosts who consider all your needs and add those extra special touches. Loved it and will be back again with my family.

Steve was lovely and friendly and picking up the keys and accessing the unit was super easy. They even provided us with juice and milk in the fridge which I thought was above and beyond. The location of this unit was amazing, it's literally across the road from the water. Unit was comfortable and with all the amenities you will need. I'd highly recommend staying here especially if you want to be close to the water.

First time Air BnB user. Booking this unit was a breeze! Steve was super quick in responding to queries and made the whole process painless.
The unit was clean and everything was as promised in the listing. Steve went above and beyond to make us feel welcome there, including helping unpack the car.
Amazing location! We were visiting for a family event (so didn't have a lot of down time), and it was a shame about the weather, but if we had more time and less rain we would have really been able to make full use of the facilities. l will hopefully return in the not too distant future to make full use of being so close to the water.

Thanks for the nice review Peter. I apologise, as I had no idea the mattress in the bunk bed was uncomfortable. I am working on fitting an exhaust fan in the bathroom, in the next couple of weeks and we also plan to change the bunk bed to two King Singles in the near future. We will make sure they have great quality mattresses. Thanks for your honest feed-back. If no-one tells us, then we don't know.
Very easy and fluid communication with Steve. Apartment very clean and as photographed. We weren't there for a holiday but if we were foreshore and beach is across the road and highly visible from verandah.
Steve and Sandy are hosts that will go to great lengths to ensure you have a great stay. When Steve heard my husband and I were getting the train, then bus to the unit, he kindly offered to pick us up in Brisbane as he had an appointment earlier in the day a few suburbs away. Now is that not a great host. We were duly picked up and delivered to a very accommodating unit, right on the waterfront, everything was provided in amenities and a few fresh provisions, great start to a relaxing break, most appreciated. Local buses ran frequently from early in the morning week days, two different routes, but it was very easy to walk where ever you wanted, all so nice, a flat for comfortable walking. Supermarket was only 100m or less up the road, the opposite way there was a mix of little shops and cafes, also a Post Office, all just barely 10 mins walk. We didn't catch any fish, but no end of opportunity to try and the weather was great, very comfortable. There are playgrounds dotted along the shore, also covered seated areas and barbeques, right on the waters edge. Although the unit was on a busy thoroughfare, there was no real disturbance of noise, most traffic moved during the day and little at night. The unit was larger than we expected, good size bedrooms with wardrobes, large family bathroom with bath and separate shower. Toilet separate again, big laundry, good size kitchen, fully equipped and with walk-in pantry, a good size dining area with big family dining table. Good size lounge and seating provided. There is also an on-site garage at the rear of the unit. Linen and towels were also provided. This unit is a definite must and price is great, especially as it sleeps 5 comfortably.
About the Host, Steve
Hi we are Steve and Sandy Gregory. I (Steve) am from Brisbane, but travel the world in my job. Sandy is originally from Germany, and we both now live at Sandstone Point, near Bribie Island. Our Air BnB unit was my Dads' home for 28 years, and he adored living there, until he passed away, a bit over two years ago, at age 90. We have kept the place for holiday rental, because Keith would have been delighted that others got to share a little piece of his paradise. It's now fully refurbished, has everything you would ever want, in a holiday unit, including position, position, position!!!! You love it!!
