No car needed, steps to Oakland City Marta Station
Semi-Private Space.... This is not a real room with solid walls, but one of six cheerful, inviting, beautifully decorated areas each divided by slim wooden walls and floor to ceiling curtains. In each of these spaces, you will find a very comfortable and well dressed single bed, storage, towel, robe, and pretty much everything needed to get a cozy night's rest, an afternoon nap, a session of work/study, or just chillin and relaxing. I also have little fans and space heaters available for guest's comfort. These crash pads are perfect for just a night passing through Atlanta (only 4 quick stops from the Airport, then a 3 minute walk to the house) or even for an extended stay (so close to downtown) 6 luxury crash pads in total , so at any given time there could potentially be up to 6 people staying here sharing the one full bathroom and one half bathroom, and 2 vanity sink area which is plenty to accomodate a full house. Guests are usually well traveled, friendly, educated, interesting to chat with, and in the habit of good house sharing etiquette. Sorry, no children or pets allowed. However, I do have 3 of the sweetest, cutest dogs ever that stay here, as well as myself and Forrest. Upstairs in the mail level of the house are the 5 private guest rooms with another full kitchen, common area, and 2 more bathrooms
Modest kitchen with basics available to Crash Pad guests, as well as free WIFI and laundry facilities. Nice big yard with lots of patio seating for those beautiful, sunny Atlanta mornings.
The neighborhood...Capitol View, an up and coming community close to downtown. It's a residential neighborhood comprised of single family homes that has a Bohemian mixed with Inner City vibe. You won't find any tourists around here, just local, lower income, working class, friendly ATLiens. No trendy shops or cafes...only single family residential homes with a small corner mini mart for convenience items.
Great place to stay - comfy and clean, with a lovely host and gorgeous dogs.
Tracy kindly picked me up from the bus station, which was really appreciated after a long day of travelling!
As a solo female traveller I didn't feel too safe walking around the neighbourhood, but it's very close to the Marta transit system so you can get around the city easily.
Quiet and comfortable place. Good neighborhood with nice people. Tracey was kind all the time I was in her place.
I'm very easy-going and my needs are minimal, so for the excellent rate, this place met or exceeded all my expectations. Tracy was very welcoming and the space was cozy and chill at the same time, and I felt completely comfortable. There is a great cooperative atmosphere, as most of the space is shared and the crash pads downstairs are in close quarters, but the sleeping area was very quiet and there were plenty of nooks and baskets and lockers and fridge shelves to allow everyone to designate their own things in the commom areas. I enjoyed some delicious complimentary tea and was especially glad to even be able to toss in a load of laundry. I would definitely enjoy staying here again and highly recommend it!
A small, but very cozy place! I felt very comfortable there! Would recommand it!!! And the most important to me: it's very close to MARTA-Train station!
First time using Airbnb and Tracy was excellent. Here place is quaint, clean, comfortable and inviting. I loved it and wished I could stay longer. Gracious host and helpful. Thank you Tracy.
The room I stayed in was small but definitely comfortable. All of the amenities were great. Given the reasonable price and convenient location, I really couldn't recommend Tracy & Forrest's accommodations enough.
This was my second stay at this beautiful home . I was welcomed with a Pinterest-worthy, gorgeous Holiday tableau complete with a tree and tiny lights and woodland creatures nestled in the "snow" in front of the fireplace. I was exhausted after a 14-hour workday and snuggled into bed for a sound sleep. This is a special home and I look forward to my next stay!

Easy going, creative types. We like cooking, entertaining, local, organic food, yoga, good wine, lots of good music, art, film, animals, nature, sailing, the ocean, traveling, calm and tranquil spaces, and try to find beauty in all things. We love to have fun and not take life too seriously. We enjoy hosting and meeting new friends from all cultures and backgrounds and don't really follow the mainstream of American culture much at all. We love to buy houses and fix them up. We have quite a few places where we host guests and try to be as accommodating as possible. When staying in a private room, you will be in a room in one of our houses, most likely, there will be a couple of dogs in the house as well, so animal lovers usually love staying with us. Our properties are in lower income neighborhoods where real, local ATLiens live. You won't see many tourists around, mostly, just typical working class folks who love to sit on the front porch and unwind as part of Southern culture. We always say hello to each other in passing, so please be friendly and observe our friendly custom when encountering locals, they will appreciate the gesture. Because we are in a lower income neighborhood, we can offer more upscale accommodations to travelers on a budget. Also, for travelers relying on public transportation, we are on the Marta line conveniently situated halfway between the Airport and downtown. Our rates are very reasonable and not subject to negotiation. Rates, terms, and policies are fixed and applied equally to all guests. We look forward to hosting you one day soon.
