Pretty relaxed here.
Sometimes share a drink with the guests before heading out for a night on the town. Out of respect for other house guests, the kitchen is closed from 11pm till 8am to keep the noise to a minimum.
Amazing place, super clean, spotless and the host is gracious and welcoming! Chris definitely is one of a kind in hosting! Thanks!
I've stayed in many Airbnbs, and staying at Chris' listing was definitely in my top 5 best experiences. The room is exactly as pictured. The bathroom has a larger than life tub. Everything was clean, and there was ample space to hang clothes and set up shop. The desk against the wall, serves as a nice little nook to work from, especially when the doors to the deck are left open. This was actually one of my favorite parts - waking up and stepping out on the deck to an incredible view of the backyard and silverlake hills. Feels like it's all your own. Complete seclusion, even though other people may be staying in the house. The listing is within walking distance to intelligentsia and dinosaur coffee - for those interested in a morning cup. I can't recommend Chris' place enough. I'll be staying there again next time I'm in LA.
Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh. It's great. Nothing to complain, really.
It has been a real pleasure to be hosted by Chris.

His guesthouse is beautiful, and the bedroom was perfect.
I highly recommand this place if you feel like coming to LA.... I'll definitely come back.

About the Host, Chris
40 something, video/graphics producer and editor.
I grew up in the New York suburbs and north east New England. I wound up living in New York City for a few years, and eventually moved to California about 22 years ago. I've been living in the Silver Lake and Los Feliz area ever since, and I run the BNB with my partner Frank.
I embrace the 'LA' lifestyle, in that I try to be easy going and flexible, and do take advantage of the local delights. (Mountains, deserts, and the Pacific Ocean.) When I'm traveling, sometimes I'm looking for a peaceful natural retreat, other times looking for a fun city that stays open late.
It's amazing how many interesting and really cool people I've met through airbnb.com and I'm very happy I can be a host and will continue to do so.
