A newly renovated one-bedroom apartment in the up-scale part of Leblon, just one block from the beach! Perfect for a couple and suitable for up to four guests!
The apartment is in the second floor of a residential building with doorman and 2 elevators.
The building is surrounded by countless restaurants, cafés and bars, including the famous street "Rua Dias Ferreia", where you will find many of Rio's best restaurants!
Supermarket, pharmacy, gym and shops of all kinds are in walking distance. Taxi stand and (Metro)Bus stop around the corner.
Features of the apartment:
*The bedroom has a double bed, a big wardrobe and a study desk where you can place your laptop and use the Internet (wireless, of course).
*The bedroom leads to a small bathroom with shower, sink and toilet.
*The living room is equipped with a sofa (which can be transformed into a double bed if needed), two arm chairs and a small table, a TV and a hammock.
*The kitchen is fully equipped with a gas stove, a fridge with freezer compartment, a stove top espresso machine, water boiler, and all the basic cooking utensils you need to make breakfast or cook a nice meal!
*The entire apartment has air conditioning and you will find sockets in every room.
*Towels and Linen are included!

The apartment has 3 rooms (living room, bed room and office), but we keep the office locked to store our personal belongings. We also keep the walk-in wardrobe behind the kitchen locked during their stay.
You will have full access to the living room, bedroom, bathroom, kitchen and a small open space beside the kitchen to dry your clothes (very handy when returning from the beach) and store the beach chair :)
Interaction with Guests
We will probably travel ourselves while you are renting the apartment, but I will try my best to be there when you arrive. I will also provide you with reliable contacts (my in-laws, a close friend and a neighbor) who will be reachable anytime during your stay.
We have our own parking spot in the garage, which is a great plus in a city that suffers from an excess of cars and shortage of public parking space! However, you don't need to spend money on renting a car (unless you are planning to visit places outside of Rio) because you get everywhere by bus, metro and taxi. There is a taxi stand right in front of our doorstep and a bus stop across the street. From there, you can take a bus that will take you to the metro station of Ipanema in less than 10 minutes.
We respect your privacy and will typically not contact you during your Rio de Janeiro visit. If – upon moving in – you see anything that seems to be inadequate (e.g. about the amenities, cleanliness of the apartment or broken), please contact us immediately and let us know. We wish you to have the most pleasant visit and – if given the chance – we will take great efforts to correct or improve any problem. If you do not contact us promptly, however, we will assume that everything is fine and not be able to resolve the problem and no refunds will be given.
The apartment building is residential and many of our neigbours are families and older people. It is strictly forbidden to use our apartment to engage in illegal activity, hold parties or otherwise engage in any act that cause property damage or substantial noise or other condition that disturbs the neighbors’ quiet enjoyment of their own homes. Failure to comply with this term may result in the host’s immediate eviction and exclusion of Guest from the apartment without any recompense for any rental money paid for future nights.
We provide one set of keys and the guest shall not give any key (or copy of such) to any person OTHER than one of the persons named within this agreement as an occupant. When departing from an apartment, the front doors and windows of the apartment need to be closed and locked.
