A cozy space in a great location with easy access to everything wonderful in PDX.
This space is just steps from everything that makes NW Portland so fantastic. Also located along the streetcar line, you'll have no problem further exploring Portland.
Hungry? Feed your belly at any of the delicious spots in the Pearl District or Nob Hill.
Thirsty? Cafes, breweries and wine bars abound.
Got a hankering for culture? Art galleries and theaters populate the area.
Like to shop? The plethora of boutiques should satiate your fashion desires.
Feeling like a hike? Forest Park - the largest park within city limits in the US - is just a short walk away.
No doubt this is a fabulous location to spend your time in PDX.
An elevator takes you up to the top floor of the building. Stepping into the apartment drenches you in light from large bay windows in both the living room and bedroom. Facing south, you have natural light all day long (even on the grayest of days that we are so well known for).
There is a full size, spa quality bed in the bedroom. There is also a full size air mattress that -- shockingly! -- doesn't lose air! I don't have cable TV, but I DO have a mini DisplayPort cord, and an iPhone cord (not compatible with iPhone 5) so you can stream Netflix or similar.
There are ceiling fans if you feel the need to get the air moving.
There is a public balcony. Free street parking is plentiful near the building which is basically unheard of in this neighborhood.
Depending on the needs of the guest and timing, the apartment can be rented out entirely or shared with me.
I have lived in this neighborhood for 2 years. If you would like recommendations for anything to see, eat, drink, or do, then by all means ask this lady for some tips.
I am a photographer with a business to call my own.
A public balcony, bike storage, wifi, street parking, local transportation, and much much more!
Depends on the guest! Usually a few exchanges before, maybe once while they are staying, and a thank you after they leave!
You can walk everywhere! Situated right between the Pearl District and Nob Hill, you are indeed staying in the heart of Portland. And don't forget Forest Park is right at your fingertips! No need to leave town to escape to the woods for a hike.
The streetcar is 2 blocks way. The Max is 10 blocks. Buses are all over!

Great host with an amazing location. It was very convenient to all the shops/restaurants and public transportation. The place was spacious and amazingly bright, even during Portland's winter. We had a wonderful stay!
Amy is not only a great host, but is also a cool person! Her apartment is full of photography and artistic beauty. If you're looking for a place in the Portland area it would be hard to find a better choice. After staying in Amy's place for a month, my wife and I like the area so much we're thinking of moving there. :)
Amy's apartment is cute! We enjoyed the easy access to restaurants and shopping areas, which were an easy (<10 minute) walk away from her apartment. It is a great location and provided us with a place from which to experience Portland.
Spent 3 wonderful nihts at Amy's place and will definitely stay again if it's free on our next trip. Cozy, quiet, in a great neighbourhood and walking distance from downtown it was the perfect place for a little getaway.
Loved Portland and loved our stay at Amy's place! The apartment was the perfect size with all the amenities we needed. And Amy was an excellent hostess! A great communicator and very gracious!
Our stay in Portland was awesome!! Amy has a great little place in a great location, we walked everywhere. Check-in and check-out was super easy, her directions/instructions were clearly laid out, and her communication before, during, and after our stay was very responsive. We got see to Amy for a short time and she seems like a very easy going fun person. When we come to Portland again to revisit all of our favorite breweries, we will definitely give Amy a call --> highly recommend: Portland and Amy as a host.
Thanks again Amy!!!
Nancy and I used to live in Portland and we knew we wanted to stay close to the center of the city. Amy's apartment was just right. As we walked into the spacious living room the first day the afternoon sun was bathing the sofa. We set our bags down and immediately sat down to bask in the warmth and light. For the next five days we walked all over town: first to City Market to stock up on on groceries, then Powell's Books, the downtown library, Union Station, Fong Chong's for dim sum, Pearl Bakery for Sicilian fig cookies. Can you tell we are ready to go back to PDX?
An autumn storm swept in during our first night at Amy's. We got up each morning, made tea and sat at the cozy kitchen table as we watched the morning light come up.
At the end of each day's umbrella wrestling adventures, we were happy to have a warm home waiting for us.
Amy's lovely little Northwest Portland apartment was my first experience with AirBNB and a great one to boot! Amy was really responsive and communicative, plus her apartment was absolutely lovely. What photographer wouldn't surround herself in such a well lit, quaint little place? Even when it was gloomy (as it so often is), Amy's place was cozy and bright. Not to mention, the location is both quiet and off the beaten path, but still extremely close and convenient to much of what Portland has to offer.
Amy was our first Airbnb and host and it was everything I could have dreamed of and more! Her place is in a great neighborhood within walking distance of lots of fun shops and eateries. We even walked to the wedding we were in town to attend. It was also so welcoming and homey. Amy has a great sense of style that radiates through the apartment. I also LOVED the amazing sunshine that comes in through her bay windows. If given the chance to live in an apartment like that full-time, I say "yes please!" Thanks Amy for making our first Airbnb experience such a positive one!!!
Just spent a week at Amy's in Portland and had a great time. The location is central, the place is spacious and Amy left everything that we needed to have a comfortable stay. There was quite a bit of freeway noise in the morning, starting at 6:00, so if you're not used to that it might affect your sleep. The apartment is south facing, so was hot in the peak of summer.
