A cozy space in a great location with easy access to everything wonderful in PDX.
This space is just steps from everything that makes NW Portland so fantastic. Also located along the streetcar line, you'll have no problem further exploring Portland.
Hungry? Feed your belly at any of the delicious spots in the Pearl District or Nob Hill.
Thirsty? Cafes, breweries and wine bars abound.
Got a hankering for culture? Art galleries and theaters populate the area.
Like to shop? The plethora of boutiques should satiate your fashion desires.
Feeling like a hike? Forest Park - the largest park within city limits in the US - is just a short walk away.
No doubt this is a fabulous location to spend your time in PDX.
An elevator takes you up to the top floor of the building. Stepping into the apartment drenches you in light from large bay windows in both the living room and bedroom. Facing south, you have natural light all day long (even on the grayest of days that we are so well known for).
There is a full size, spa quality bed in the bedroom. I don't have cable TV, but I DO have a mini DisplayPort cord, and an iPhone cord (not compatible with iPhone 5) so you can stream Netflix or similar. Please note you need to bring your own devices to use the TV. I just provide the connection :) I also do NOT own a microwave, but the gas stove works great!
There are ceiling fans if you feel the need to get the air moving.
Free street parking is plentiful near the building which is basically unheard of in this neighborhood.
I have lived in this neighborhood for 3 years. If you would like recommendations for anything to see, eat, drink, or do, then check out my neighborhood guide!
I am a photographer with a business to call my own.
Bike storage, wifi, street parking, local transportation, and much much more!
Interaction with Guests
Depends on the guest! Usually a few exchanges before, maybe once while they are staying, and a thank you after they leave!
You can walk everywhere! Situated right between the Pearl District and Nob Hill, you are indeed staying in the heart of Portland. And don't forget Forest Park is right at your fingertips! No need to leave town to escape to the woods for a hike.
The streetcar is 2 blocks way. The Max is 10 blocks. Buses are all over!
Be courteous in respect to space and property. This is an apartment building so there are people around you. You're on the top floor so there is no one above you and sometimes it's easy to forget there are people below. Common sense should rule. Don't be doing jumping jacks at 3 am ;-)
No pets. Please leave Fido and Fluffy at home.
Amy's apartment was lovely. It had a lot of space and was really comfortable. Also, it's in a great area. It's only about a 10 minute walk from the NW district and Knob Hill. It takes about 15 minutes to walk to the Pearl District and 20 minutes to get to Powell's and Whole Foods. I loved staying there and I definitely recommend it!
Amy's place was bright, quiet and comfortable with easy walking access to the Pearl, and restaurants on 23rd. The streetcar is right across the street, so it was easy to jump on when I was in a hurry or wanted to get out of the drizzle.
I got in very late, and had no problems getting in, finding keys, wifi and music hookups. I loved that the bathroom was equipped with lots of extra soaps (likely collected from others' visits) and clean, cozy towels.
We enjoyed our stay!
We had a great time staying at Amy's cute apartment! It's located very conveniently to many restaurants and shops, and the apartment itself is very cozy :)
We enjoyed our stay at Amy's place! The place was clean and quite and in a great location. We were so happy to be able to park our rental car by the complex (for free!) and walk to plenty of shops and restaurants. Amy leaves great instructions too!
Amy's apartment is not only beautiful, spacious, clean but it is in the very best location! So very near to all the best bits and pieces of Northwest Portland, you can stroll down Twenty Third, catch a bite on Burnside, or walk through the park and pup-watch. The apartment building is wonderfully antique, you feel immediately time-transplanted to Portland way before it was cool. Much thanks to Amy!
Amy's place was perfect! We arrived late but had no trouble getting in as her directions were great. Parking in her area was easy and free, for the most part. Several great coffee shops and restaurants were within a short walk and we walked all over the Pearl on Sunday without having to move our car once. The space is cozy (the bed is incredibly comfortable) and light filled. Really charming space and we will definitely book this space again when traveling to Portland!
Amy's apartment was great! Super comfy bed, spacious, within walking distance of breweries, shops, cafes, restaurants. We didn't have any problem with the shower - nice and warm with a big shower head. Parking was easy too. Thanks, Amy!

I prefer solo travel and adore SE Asia. I loved reading Shantaram. The Princess Bride is the best movie ever. I like to get down to a booty shakin' groove. Wine and cheese and fruit, please.
Nice to meet you.
