My fiancée & I stayed in David & Erica's loft for 6 days at the beginning of May & absolutely loved it.
The loft is even better than it looks on the photos & was a 2 minute walk to the East River Ferry which made it super easy to get up & down Brooklyn as well as across to Manhattan.
The views from the loft are great & the rooftop is such an added bonus - we spent a few lovely evenings having some beers up there as the sun set behind the Manhattan skyline.
David was easy to get hold of & passed on a load of useful info that made our stay simple & relaxed.
Would definitely recommend this place to everyone!
I couldn't have asked for a better way to have spent my birthday with my kids in NY. Amazing place. Great taste. Clean. Easy. And we tried to leave it as we found it and I hope we succeeded at it. Funny enough, it happened to be a building where some really good friends live and others have lived. Small planet. Now I know who to check with for next time and I'll start here.
Wow this place is amazing, David and Erica are super laid back and Cool ! Amazing light, views and sunset are to die for. The building has an old NYC texture that tells a story and full of young creative NYC professionals, I felt rite rite at home. ...and super cozy cool apt., THX guys !
A group of four of us spent 10 days over Christmas in David and Erica's wonderful apartment. The apartment was well designed and comfortable with great functional spaces as well as spectacular views.
The apartment was in a great spot to get around, we caught the subway, the ferry and cabs all with ease. Williamsburg was a wonderful area to explore with a multitude of great places to eat and drink, we also really enjoyed being somewhere a bit more relaxing than Manhattan over the holiday period.
David was super friendly and communicative in the lead up to our stay. Although we had no problems he checked in with us over the course so I felt that if there had been any issues, help was readily at hand.
All instructions that were left were clear and useful, we highly recommend a stay here!
Stayed in David and Erica's amazing loft over Thanksgiving and couldn't have been happier. We woke up and went to sleep with the most incredible skyline views (and the rooftop views were an added bonus). The historic loft itself was clean, welcoming, and full of character. These folks have a great design sense. We spent our time exploring both Manhattan and Williamsburg with no issues.
David was always responsive to any questions we had and made the entire process a breeze. Plus, we arrived to a nice bottle of wine (thanks again)!
Wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.
I'm so happy that we chose David and Ericas place. It's so great. David sent us the key in good time before our trip so when we arrived late it was easy for us to let ourselfs in. They had left us a bottle of wine :-) we feel that we had everything we needed during our stay. It's close to the ferry that takes you midtown or Dumbo and diwntown. It's a ten minute walk to the subway.
David had listed things about the apartment and surroundings that was a great help. The communication via email or message thru Airbnb was quick.
Back home in Sweden I feel how much I miss the stunning view when you wake up in the apartment and when you get back after a day (website hidden) is easy in the apartment. There's a TV with lots of channels but we were to tired to watch it :-)
Wifis great. I don't have negative things to say about this place.
We couldn't have been happier with our decision to stay at David and Erica's. We travelled from London to meet friends from Boston, and we were all blown away by how beautiful the apartment was - a perfect home for a rainy July 4th. The apartment is even better in person, the view is incredible, and the hosts were super helpful and responsive and welcoming. Neighborhood is also great, with all the Williamsburg bars and restaurants you could want within a 10-12 minute (website hidden) in the bedrooms and a roofdeck made the NYC July heat manageable, and our friends found nearby street parking for the whole weekend without issue. Overall the perfect place. Happy to provide any additional information for prospective renters. Thanks David and Erica!
