Enjoyed my month at Joyce's place. Joyce is very helpful and caring for guests. The location is good - an easy walk to the center of town. When the house is full, accommodations don't offer a ton of privacy, so if that's critical for you, might be good to look elsewhere. Very much enjoyed evening views from the roof - totally spectacular.

Nice mixed neighborhood, safe and friendly and a lovely view of San Miguel from the roof top terrace.

I stayed in Joyce's place recently while in San Miguel. Being here for the first time and having lots of questions, Joyce was a wealth if info and made me feel at home in her charming and cosy place, which was super convenient to my spanish school. The bed wss comfortable and i had full use of the main floor kitchen to prepare mesls if I felt like it. Joyce is a great free spirit with a really propensity to "tell it like it is". I really enjoyed her outlook in general and her keen interest in current affairs.

My boyfriend and I stayed in the Parroquia bedroom for a month while working on an intense project in San Miguel. We weren't in the room much, but it was cute, very similar to the photos. Joyce was warm and welcoming, and seems to get a great deal of enjoyment from her guests. I was also happy that the location of her building is well uphill from the canals, which can get a bit smelly in certain weather - the air at Joyce's was quite fresh compared to some of the other parts of town.
