Much more than just accommodation, Joyce's 30 or so years experience in SMA gave me a real head start on feeling comfortable in a new culture, city and country.A very gracious lady with a real insight into Mexico ensures a well rounded experience for anyone who is able to grab a vacancy. The Casa is beautifully designed with tasteful and authentic touches throughout I feel like I have made a true friend....as I am sure any guest will who stops by the lovely home on Calle Cueste.
Joyce is a warm, welcoming and entertaining host. The house is lovely and the views stunning.
The location is excellent, within walking distance of the main sights, shops and - just down the street - the mercado.
And yes, there are roosters. In fact, listening to roosters communicating over vast distances across town, San Miguel de Allende has many. So wherever you stay you may get some of that authentic provincial allure.
Joyce graciously welcomed us into her home. The home is exactly as described and is filled with treasured and interesting pieces. Joyce is well-traveled, a knowledgable guide to the city,
and was most helpful. Our room was very comfortable and had a unique window through which we could view the Parroquia. We thank Joyce for her warm hospitality.
Joyce was a great host, very hospitable and welcoming. Really went out of her way to make my trip even better. The house is fantastic, full of character and personality with a great view of the main square. Highly recommend staying at Joyce's place to anyone wanting to get an authentic experience of San Miguel Allende.
San Miguel is an amazing place and Joyce's room is a great place to land. The views are spectacular from your room and the rooftop. No need to be inside when in SMA. Joyce is a great host. The location is a treat not to be missed.
