  • You will never regret to stay at Joyce's house. I love San Miguel and enjoy the day at Joyce's house with nice view of the downtown. Too many advanced staying at here. Close to a market where u can get local fruit and food. About 5-10 mins walk to the center.

  • The house on tecolote is in a great location, within easy walking distance of the main jardin. From the top floor you get wonderful views of the city. This is a great value for the rate charged. Joyce was a wonderful host, she even helped arrange airport transportation for my wife and I. She is very responsive to emails and made our stay quite enjoyable.

  • Staying at Joyce´s place was an amazing experience. The house was huge and so nice, which made it extremely unfortunate that we could only stay one night. I will for sure come back, not just for the house, but also to meet Joyce! She is a very interesting and kind person which does not mind coming over for a glass of wine while watching the sunset. Walking into the city centre takes only a few minutes. I can only recommend going there!

  • Joyce is a warm, welcoming and entertaining host. The house is lovely and the views stunning.
The location is excellent, within walking distance of the main sights, shops and - just down the street - the mercado.
And yes, there are roosters. In fact, listening to roosters communicating over vast distances across town, San Miguel de Allende has many. So wherever you stay you may get some of that authentic provincial allure.

  • Joyce graciously welcomed us into her home. The home is exactly as described and is filled with treasured and interesting pieces. Joyce is well-traveled, a knowledgable guide to the city,
and was most helpful. Our room was very comfortable and had a unique window through which we could view the Parroquia. We thank Joyce for her warm hospitality.

  • San Miguel is an amazing place and Joyce's room is a great place to land. The views are spectacular from your room and the rooftop. No need to be inside when in SMA. Joyce is a great host. The location is a treat not to be missed.
