About This Listing
A private room with AC which has a double bed and a single. A common area is used by everyone with a large deck, living room and kitchen. We also have a TV room for everyone to use. Secure parking for up to 3 cars is available. I would not recommend it for anyone that is not physically active. There are a number of stairs. WIFI is in the common areas but not in the room.
I will only receive guests after 6 pm by direct request, so ask first if you plan on arriving at night.

Anita was lovely and super helpful. She and Nuria were very welcoming and accommodating. I felt safe and welcome. The breakfast was delicious and I greatly appreciated their help in reserving horseback riding. I highly recommend Casa Buena Vista!
We had a really good time at Anita's B&B. She was a great host and she helped us a lot. The B&B is good located (we didn't have a car) and we could easly walk down to two beaches, to the bus stopp, supermarket, bank and a few restaurants. It's a really calm place and there are always monkeys in the trees next to the house.
Unfortunately we had to cancel but Anita seemed very accommodating. She offered to hold our luggage before we checked so we could park at the beach without worries.
Nice place just as she described. Very friendly folks here. Be warned though there are resident bats and the wifi is spotty sometimes. The place has good character.
We had a wonderful time staying at Anita's location. The view and surrounding areas were the best. Plenty of wildlife and walking distance to the beach. Everything you want or need is very close by as well. Anita was very helpful and the breakfast every morning was great.

About the Host, Anita
I discover Manuel Antonio 38 years ago after graduating the University of California in Berkeley. Don Melton and myself first did a research project in the National Park and adjoining beaches and decided to make Punta Quepos our home. Don was the local historian and gave educational talks for many groups including National Geografic. We were among the founders of the first Chamber of Tourism in Manue Antonio, founders of ASCONA (Quepos first conservation organization), and have continued to be active in civic and conservations groups to date. I am currently working with a group to establish an animal shelter here in our (website hidden) We worked for many years on the problem of drownings (see page 7). I ran my gift shop LA BUENA NOTA for many years and because of my extensive knowledge of Costa Rica, I can answer most questions about our area and some advice about other tourist destinations in Costa Rica.
