Recycling and composting are important. Things like banana peels, egg shells and vegetable peels go into the little green plastic bin by the kitchen sink. If it fills up, just dump it behind the rear yard shed. Glass, plastic, paper drink cans etc to into the “Recycle” bin near the washer/dryer in garage.
The tap water here is amongst the best in the world, snow melt direct from Yosemite National Park. Bottled water is unnecessary.
There are three remote controls for the TV, cable box and DVD player. Funky TV: You must turn it on and off, mute and adjust volume AT THE SET (right side panel)
A computer printer is in the last kitchen cabinet on the left near the door to the patio if you need to print small documents, perhaps a boarding pass. Software disc too.
Please close the doors and windows when you leave the house and when furnace is on (thermostat opposite the front bathroom which runs manually)
On hot days the house stays much cooler with all of the blinds closed. There is no air conditioning
There's a cross bicycle in the garage (champagne colored) for your use. The lock combination is 20-33-1 Please wear a helmet that's nearby. I have a nice road racing bicycle that's available to experienced road riders at cost
There are extra towels and sheets in the hall closet between the two front bedrooms. Help yourself as I do not change linens during a guests stay.
There is a clothes washer and dryer in the garage with detergent etc. in the cabinet above the dryer. ABC Dry Cleaners is good and just two blocks away on Old County Rd at Holly Street.
Trash bags for the kitchen garbage can are in the bottom drawer just left of the stove. Toss full trash bags in the large green trash bin on north side of house.
I do not provide food or beverage but if you (email hidden), yogurt, fruit, cereal or coffee, please enjoy and drop a dollar or two in my $ jar on the kitchen counter.
Enjoy a BBQ! There's usually charcoal in the garage near the door to the patio, which is where you'll find the Weber kettle.
Enjoy the kitchen and explore for spices, coffee maker, blender etc. But I expect the kitchen to be cleaned well after you use it. There's a spray bottle with ammonia and water under the kitchen sink which works great for the soiled counter and stove tops.
The microwave oven is in the last cabinet on the left. Dish washer soap under kitchen sink
I like to leave the porch light on until late evening/bed time as added security. You'll find the neighborhood very safe and friendly. Lock your car and do not leave valuables in plain sight.
Toss used wash cloths and towels in the clothes hampers
There's a Bose Sound Wave Radio in living room and CD's in the front hall closet.
You'll find some maps and tourist related info in the front hall closet
If I'm not staying here with you, please bring any newspapers and mail inside for me :)
There should be adequate toilet paper in each bathroom but check the front hall closet or shelf in the front bedroom for a supply.
An electric hair dryer is in the front bath cabinet
The bed in the master bedroom is a Sleep Number bed with a remote control nearby that adjusts
There's an auto inflating twin size air bed in the last kitchen cabinet on the left.
Please no fires in the wood burning stove without my explicit instructions/permission
If the plants indoor/outdoor look thirsty, please water them.

This was my second stay at Tim's place, and I will certainly book there again, as I have more travel to the area coming up. His place is clean, comfortable, and well organized, with laundry, a modern, roomy kitchen, and rooms and bath that are as described. The neighborhood is all family homes with lots of gardens and birds, nice for me because I live way up north. Transportation is pretty easy, (Caltrain station nearby), and there are good small restaurants in walking distance. Tim is relaxed and friendly, a very gracious host. I recommend this BnB!
Tim was a great host and the space was clean, quiet, and nice.
Tim was very welcoming and was very clear and forthright with the guidelines and rules of the house. He was also very helpful with meeting any personal needs I had as well as respectful of personal space. His friendly demeanor made me feel I had a sanctuary away from home throughout my stay.
I've had the privilege to enjoy Tim's hospitality several times now, and I *always* look forward to it! His place is great, the area is very nice, the room and house are perfect, and Tim's a great guy to visit with, if your schedule permits. Thanks as always, Tim!
another easy and comfortable stay at Tim's place. thansk!
