This cozy two bedroom, one bath cottage is located in Port Angeles at the base of the Olympic Mountains. King and queen beds, fully fenced yard, quiet and safe neighborhood, partial views of the Strait of Juan de Fuca, including Vancouver Island and Victoria, and views of some mountain peaks. Vintage record player, beautiful fully stocked kitchen. Kid friendly parks within walking distance. Quiet and private.

The space
Welcome to the Treasure Nest! This adorable home sits on a corner lot with peek-a-boo views of the Strait of Juan de Fuca and the Olympic Mountains. Thoughtfully decorated throughout the home with ships, lighthouses and the occasional octopus. You will immediately feel the good vibe when you enter the place. This is where you can relax inside or outside and change your views depending on your mood. Coffee is provided to help you start the day. Like to jog? The Olympic Discovery Trail is 3/4 of a mile from the Nest. Get ready for the day while your kids play in the fully fenced, private yard. Speaking of kids, we also have a Pack ‘N Play available for your use! The ferry to Victoria is minutes away, and a day trip to the Olympic coast is just a 90 minute drive. Lake Crescent isn’t far down the road. Crown Park is two blocks away and offers a playground and a short trail down to beach combing on Ediz Hook. It’s highly possible you will see deer in the front yard while you visit. We are so thrilled to share this amazing space with you!

Neighborhood highlights

The scenic Crown Park neighborhood is quiet and safe. Guests can walk just a few minutes to the Park on the bluff which has a playground and picnic areas. From here, a short but steep trail takes you down to the beach where you can walk for hours in either direction. The guest book will have a map of our favorite neighborhood walk where you can see incredible bluff views, a Bald Eagle's nest, and a field that always has deer. Our neighborhood is set aside from downtown which you will be happy you chose - away from the traffic and noise. We have great neighbors, the ones we share a fence with love that we host guests from all over the country and are happy to have you all come and go.

I was raised on the Olympic Peninsula and am excited to share this home and area with you. As one local said to me, "You can live here 100 years and never see everything". We enjoy beach combing, hiking, road cycling, and just hanging out on the many river bars in the area. Enjoy this special place, there's magic all around!
