Modern 44 square meter unit on a high floor with skyline views towards downtown Bangkok and a SkyTrain (BTS) station is situated right outside!
This one-bedroom apartment is in a modern building that is super-conveniently located with the SkyTrain (BTS) station literally directly opposite the building entrance.
Other conveniences include a McDonalds, KFC, several banks, a pharmacy and a large supermarket directly across the road which can be safely crossed via the SkyTrain pedestrian bridge. A Thai market with food and clothing stalls is next door. A taxi stand and a bus-stop are also right outside.
Besides a small open-air terrace off the living area there is also a small room where you can store your luggage or that you can use as a work-space.
Being on a high floor and facing north-west the place is very bright and surprisingly quiet as the main road is due west you are not directly facing it.
The building also features a small pool and gym which you can access daily between 6am and 10pm throughout your stay.
If you are going to have a car during your stay a car space in the building can be arranged but we sincerely discourage you from trying to participate in the Bangkok traffic jam. The SkyTrain is just outside after all.
Inside the unit you will have air conditioning in every room, modern bathroom and shower, a 2-burner electrical stove, microwave and fridge as well as a tea/coffee making facility. There is coin-operated laundry equipment in the building and we can recommend some third-party laundry services as well.
In terms of technology the apartment has its own dedicated Internet connection with WiFi as well as Netflix and Pandora video and music streaming from the US which are included in your rental price!
There is also a VOIP telephone offering cheap call rates to Thailand and almost anywhere in the world.

The AirBNB calendar gets updated in real time so if you see the dates you are interested in as available you are welcome to go ahead and send a booking request. No need to reconfirm availability.
Standard check-in time is after 16:00/4pm but before 21:00/9pm. Standard check-out time is after 08:00/8am but before 12:00/12 noon.
If you need to check in or out outside of these time frames please make arrangements with us before you book.
I aim to respond to all questions within 4 business hours.
The entire apartment will be yours exclusively for the duration of your booking.
Interaction with Guests
*** All check-ins and check-outs are done in person with myself or one of my team between 0800/8am and 2100/9pm ***
We will meet in person for ~20 minutes for check-in and check-out. For stays longer than one week, we will go on-site once a week for basic linen service and inspection. Other than that we will only enter the apartment for emergency maintenance or by mutual agreement. Guests can reach us via internal house-phone, web chat or e-mail, the details of which are displayed in the apartment and communicated by e-mail during check-in.
This neighborhood has the right balance of action vs. peace and quiet. It's just outside of downtown but you have a huge supermarket and a little local market with real local food right outside yet you can be downtown in 15 minutes via SkyTrain.
The SkyTrain (BTS) is located directly outside the building lobby. A taxi rank is also outside so getting around is easy. SkyTrain is best to avoid the Bangkok traffic. Connection to the MRT (subway) system from the BTS is also possible by riding BTS to Asoke and transferring to the "Sukhumvit" MRT station there.
No smoking or open flames including candles anywhere in the building, please.
As is customary in Thailand, no shoes are to be worn inside private residences. As such I would kindly ask guests to take off their shoes and keep them inside behind the door whilst in the unit.
And please be considerate to your neighbors this is a living space and not suitable for loud late-night parties... Most of your neighbors have to work 9-5.
Some local regulatory restrictions with regards to the Internet usage apply and will be discussed in the house manual. Specifically the up or downloading of copyright protected material via Bittorrent or other methods is not allowed. In the past we got legal complaints and DMCA notices because of guest's actions so please respect this rule.
