Above all, Have a wonderful holiday at the farm.
The house was lovely warm and inviting when we arrived.
Michael was an amazing host and we had a lovely time. We were so relaxed.
Our children and Micheals grandchildren played during the whole holiday and they were delightful. We want to go back!
When we arrived it was raining, Michael was not there to meet us because he was taking someone to the airport. There was someone to meet us and there was a fire going. Although the main bedroom had the bathroom, it had a lot to be desired. We have stayed at rustic lodgings before, but we were not prepared for the truly rustic condition of the cabin. What we wanted was a central location to go to Cork or other cities, and this listing did not meet our needs. We felt that this should have been stated within the listing on airbandb. Recommend for families with children under the age of 10.
We loved our time at the Fairy Fort Farm. My son's favourite experience on our whole trip was helping Michael cut the grass! All of our kids loved wandering around the farm, playing with the chickens and feeding Pedro the pig. Our cottage was clean and comfortable. No complaints at all.
There was someone to meet us upon arrival to show us around. The beds were made for us and the cottage was clean. There were lots and lots of animals on the farm, with ducks and chickens wandering freely around the place. Definitely bring your wellies! The kids really enjoyed visiting the animals and collecting blackberries on the road.
Thanks to Michael we felt as though we had always lived in Ireland. He made us feel at home at once! The cottage is fantastic, cosy and bright. Everything is as described and the animals, the tipi and treehouse are just perfect for families with kids. We would always come back and regret that we had to leave.
Michael was very friendly and made us all feel very welcome at Fairy Fort Farm. The cottage was lovely, quaint and cosy. The children loved seeing all the animals on the farm and exploring. We had a very fun stay here and would like to visit again in the future.
Our stay was comfortable and relaxing. The farm animals made the visit perfect. Michael was very welcoming. We look forward to returning.
