  • We had an excellent 10 day stay at Chris' apartment. The apartment is spacious with a great view and the location is perfect for exploring the city. We never met Chris, but he was responsive by email and everything worked as planned. We would stay here again.

    January 2014
  • We had a great stay in Chicago at Chris' apartment. There were 4 of us attending a conference in town and this proved excellent value for money. It was plenty large enough and Chris the host went out of his way to make sure we were comfortable with extra bedding etc. Although we didn't meet Chris we felt he was on hand if we had any problems. The building was very central - only a few blocks away from Michigan Avenue. Loads of bars and restaurants within walking distance. And what can I say about Eggsperience, the pancake restaurant next to the apartment lobby?! Amazing! Checking-in couldn't have been smoother and the concierge was always friendly. All-in-all a great experience. Highly recommended :)

  • Chris was a great host. He and his roommate were very accommodating to our check-in schedule and communication was superb. The flat was large, comfortable, and inviting. The apartment was a top notch high-end condo on a floor in the 50s with an incredible view of Chicago and the lake. Easy access by foot, cab, or metro. Chris' roommate even offered us drinks when we checked in. Perfect hosts and would definitely recommend staying here if you ever come through Chicago.

A (helpful) brother, (prodigal) son, (considerate) roommate, (savvy) business partner, (always improving) golfer and (versatile) management consultant. I spend a lot of time traveling for work and play. I spend a few weeks a year out west in the mountains and a few more exploring (scuba) dive sites around the world. I've become the type of person that thrives on spontaneity and never passes on the chance to create a memorable story. You want to hike the Great Wall next week? GREAT, let's do it! I pride myself on courtesy and consideration and make every effort to keep those around me comfortable (when dining with a big group, I'm the guy that pays attention to seating arrangement, ensuring a good flow of conversation, not leaving anyone out.) I love spending time in Chicago and make every opportunity to explore the city!
