Mrs Shlomit did her best to make my stay at her home very comfortable. It is really very nice, calm, clean and useful place. Arround you can find restaurants, markets, buses to the downtown and many other facilities.
Very welcoming. I know the area well and this is very convenient to most anything you might want to do. Would stay again.
This was a good room with friendly hosts who provided coffee and snacks for breakfast! I would highly recommend staying here for a good deal on a quiet, comfortable room
I had a wonderful stay. Shlomit is an excellent hostess, gave me good advice, was very helpful and accommodating. The room is spacious, nicely decorated, and quiet. The private bathroom is also very nice. The pictures and description are very accurate. The house is nicely kept, well situated, close to the Universities, parks, the Conservatory and museums. It is one block away from the neighborhood commercial street with restaurantes, supermarket and stores. I would definitely would like to stay here again when visiting Pittsburgh.
The room and bathroom were clean, quiet and private. The hosts were extremely friendly and made me feel at home and welcomed. The neighborhood is perfect. The only thing I didn't like was that the room is in a basement, and not very pleasant to hang out in during the day. This wasn't a problem for me because I got up and went out all day and evening, and only slept there - on a very comfortable bed, by the way. Overall, a pleasant experience.
Shlomit was very welcoming and so helpful. She really made my experience easy and I was very comfortable. The room was as advertised and the space was clean, convenient, and all that I needed. Shlomit does a great job and I'm very lucky that I found her on Airbnb.
This is a very convenient, private and clean place to stay in a great neighborhood. Shlomit and Dani provide a quiet room with a comfortable bed and a private bathroom, along with coffee and enough food in the fridge for a light breakfast. The room includes a private entrance so it's easy to come and go.
The location is another plus. Squirrel Hill has everything, but there are other great neighborhoods close by -- Oakland, Shadyside, Downtown, Greenfield, South Side, etc.
I stayed 4 nights. On the last night, I watched the Pirates' game in the living room with Dani, who provided tea and snacks. The hospitality of my hosts, along with the room and the amenities make this the best deal in town.
About the Host, Shlomit
My husband and are a semi-retired couple from Israel. We have been living in Pittsburgh for over thirty years and even though our children moved away, we decided to stay in Squirrel Hill. I (Shlomit) am a retired teacher and I love to meet people from all walks of life. My husband (Dani) is an architect and he still likes to work on variety of projects.
We are looking forward to meeting you. Shlomit and Daniel Har-El.
