My experience with Shlomit and Dan was incredible! I came through Pittsburgh for my first time ever with the intent of feeling it out- to see if it would be a city that I could move to. If the majority of people in Pitt are as hospitable and kind as these two then I'm sold! The bedroom, bathroom, amenities etc. were great as well. I couldn't have asked for anything better. Great first experience in this city!
It was great to stay with Shlomit again. My wife and I have stayed with her and Dani when we have come to Pittsburgh to visit our son and his family. Welcoming does not capture the friendliness and care with which Shlomit receives her guests. In fact we feel that we have made friends and are treated like family. I can only give my highest recommendation to anyonme looking for a place to stay in Squirrle Hill. Centrally located, comfortable, clean, but most of all you will be treated well.
Second time I've been to this quiet convenient private room. If you need a place to stay in Pgh this will suit you fine. Great location. Very private and note: comfortable bed.
Shlomit warmly welcomed us. She patiently explained how to use each appliance. We had a very clean and private bedroom and a bathroom. The closet is quite large, so we can keep our room tidy. We also have a fridge to use. As long as you ask, Shlomit could provide you with everything as the hotel standard. Seeing I have long hair, she also provided me with a hair dryer!
The quiet and private accommodations were made even more delightful by the gracious host. This will be my permanent "go to" stay whenever I am in Pittsburgh.
Danny and Shlomit were most accommodating in welcoming us into their home as we stayed for the weekend. The location is in Squirrel Hill is terrific and the house is impeccably clean and tidy. Would definitely stay again.
About the Host, Shlomit
My husband and are a semi-retired couple from Israel. We have been living in Pittsburgh for over thirty years and even though our children moved away, we decided to stay in Squirrel Hill. I (Shlomit) am a retired teacher and I love to meet people from all walks of life. My husband (Dani) is an architect and he still likes to work on variety of projects.
We are looking forward to meeting you. Shlomit and Daniel Har-El.
