About this listing
With me you will find a cozy and silent room in the middle of one of the most interesting districts Berlin has to offer - Friedrichshain.
I share this beautiful apartment with one flatemate. It is located on the Frankfurter Allee in one of the highly impressive Stalin buildings. They were built in the 1950s and belong to the architectural style called socialist classicism. In this apartment a piece of history is preserved and is ready to be discovered.
Your room is located to a silent backstreet and equipped with a cozy queen-size (140 x 200 cm) bed and beautiful old restored furniture. The beautiful cabinet and the commode provide much space for longer stays and suitcases can be cleverly hidden in an extra room without standing in the way. The bathroom with bathtub, scented candles invites you to a relaxing bath. Fresh bedding and towels are provided for you.
In the kitchen you find your way around easily and you're invited to cast your own menus and enjoy this in our comfy kitchen.
All the best
You will have access to everything you need in order to have a enjoyable stay at our flat. We live there two, so you will have to share the living-room, bath and kitchen with us.
Interaction with Guests
This depends on you. We love to go out and to show people around.
In fact you are staying in one of the most magical regions of Berlin. Just around the corner you find the Simon-Dach-Kiez, where you can enjoy Berlin in numerous bars, cafes, restaurants, antique shops, and many other fine stores and shops. Also you can enjoy just a few walking minutes away the Boxhagener Platz. Here for example you find on the weekends a great food and flea market. So simply check-in and immediatley dive-in into the farraginious Berlin.
Right in front of the doorsteps you find the metro and tram station Frankfurter Tor. From here you have perfect connection to all relevant locations in Berlin. Almost all main destination are reachable within 10 to 15 minutes such as Alexanderplatz, Kreuzberg (Kottbusser gate) and the Prenzlauer Berg.

Lawrence is a nice host! Only that when we are there he is sick so we can't talk too much.
His house is very lovely and good location.
The room was well designed and close to many places to go out. Especially, Jerome was very friendly to us. He chat with us and made some recommendations. I did not see personally lawrence too much. They both like to go out at night:) letting us to leave our luggage in our last day is very helpful and gave us opportunity to see many other places. Thank you Jerome and lawrence.
Our stay in Berlin was amazing, the host gave us attention and explained all we needed to feel at home. Good flat and localization near to the subway and good places in Berlin. I recommend a lot this host.
super nice room and the whole apartment..very clean and quiet, Lawrence and his roomate is very easy to communicate. good experience in Berlin
Lawrence is a nice host. Even he could not meet me for the period I stayed, he guided me the way to his place. He had his friend welcomed my friend and me. The flat is very convenient that we can catch U5 Frankfurter Tor Station within 1 min. But don't mix up the station with Frankfurter Tor and Frankfurter Allee (station) as the flat is in Frankfurter Allee (street). The flat is cozy, the lounge has a mild decorations with a sofa. The bathroom is very clean. Big kitchen. The room we lived is absolutely the same with what I expected before moving in. The bed is super comfortable with yellowish lighting making the room full of lovely atmosphere. His friend Jerome gave us detailed information for using the amenities and he is very friendly as well. I would come back to stay there again for sure if I visit Berlin again!
I will DEFINITELY come back to this place. Everything was 5stars. Great location: just 5min walk to all my favourite restaurants, cafes (e.g. silo) and stores (like Big Robot). Great bright and cozy room with plenty of space and a well equipped kitchen. And also a great host. Just met Lawrence briefly, but it was super nice chatting with him. Again, a great overall airbnb experience and reason to never stay in a hotel again ;)
